Speaker 1:

Then we've got NFL. It's time to talk MVP. So we've got to give our top three on MVP, so can't wait to get your takes on that. And we're going to give all the picks for week 11. So we got a lot of good stuff to get into. But how you guys doing I'm doing fantastic.

Speaker 2:

Are you really?

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, why are you doing so well? Why you got the big grin?

Speaker 2:

Because we have. We have gone 2-0 in the last two weeks. Panthers and Rice Young is back. He understands it now. And yeah, we're looking to beat the Chiefs after the bye week.

Speaker 3:

Let's not get too crazy now. Let's not get too crazy Wow.

Speaker 2:

All right.

Speaker 1:

See, you got to take stuff too far. All right, okay, good, good.

Speaker 3:

How about you, chris? I mean, I'm very excited what the Panthers are doing. How about you, chris? I mean I'm very excited what the Panthers are doing. I love how our defense has played these past two weeks, basically winning us the game at the end in overtime. So I definitely love what we've been doing. Yeah, it's been a good week. It's been a really good week.

Speaker 1:

Good, good, All right, yeah, man, excited to do this with you guys. Shout out to you Diego, so Diego, you won the chain again. Oh yeah, so, man, you're killing it, beating Dez down and doing a great job. So what are you doing with your winnings this week?

Speaker 2:

I am giving my winnings to Clayton High and their music for their playoff game today. So get them hype and get them a win. And and yeah, that win will be partially because of me, because the music will help get them hype, no problem to.

Speaker 1:

W, all right, hey, well, shout out to DJ Elijah down at Clayton right now. Come on, Clayton. How you got to get this playoff win. Get us a win here. Shout out to the whole Clayton athletic facility and the team. So we had the basketball team with us at Kings. That was great. It was great, yeah, having them out there Justice Mitchell, andrew Grimes they were phenomenal and hopefully the football team can get a win. So shout out to you for sponsoring the music on the field today. All right, good, good.

Speaker 1:

And one last thing before we get into this Tyson-Jake Paul fight, just thank you to everyone that makes Pick'em Pros go. We've got Summer behind the boards. What's up, summer? Thanks for managing the comments and questions. Appreciate you. We got Joe here in studio managing everything, switching the camera angles, got us set up in this beautiful studio. Shout out to you, joe. Shout out to the rest of the team Michael Sims, aaron Griffin, all the team, everybody that makes Pick'em Pros go. So shout out to everybody All right, well, let's get into this fight. Man Diego, oh yeah, tyson. Mike Tyson went at age 58. So let me set the stage for you a little bit here. Okay, so they've been training for months now. The fight was supposed to happen in July.

Speaker 2:

Jake Paul had time to fight a fight in between.

Speaker 1:

Yes, he did fight a fight in between. He did because Tyson had the ulcer, supposedly not age-related. All right, hey man, it's finally fight night. It's finally here. They're fighting on Netflix. Tyson did look pretty ripped last night. He had a slap and all that that we'll get into. Tell us who you got. Why give us your take on this fight? I got jake paul.

Speaker 2:

Uh, I just think. I just think it's his time, partially it's his time and I think he's ready to. Uh, he's not gonna prove all the doubters wrong even if he wins this fight, because even though people are saying paul's gonna win, they're still gonna say oh well, you knocked out or beat a 58-year-old man, it's not what you were saying before. But whatever, it's still going to mean something for him if he was to win. I think he wants it and I think he's got the endurance, he's gained a little bit of weight so that he can fight with Tyson. But I just think his agility is still pretty quick, can defend himself, has some power. I just think he's a good matchup. He can knock him out at any point in time, but I also think that he can tire Mike out and just kind of tire him out and then possibly knock him out at the end or just take it to a decision.

Speaker 1:

Okay, one more thing before we go to Chris. So okay, you said take him to the end or decision knockout. Give me a prediction. So I know you have Jake Paul winning the fight. We know you have that. You've held steady. I've been back and forth, I've waffled, admittedly, so Okay. But you've said from day one Paul's going to win. You haven't wavered, going to win, you haven't wavered. So give me a prediction.

Speaker 2:

Is he knocking him out? If so, what round? Or is it going to be a decision? How many? How many rounds is it eight, eight? I think he knocks him out in the seventh round.

Speaker 2:

Okay yeah, because I think he's gonna be able to hold off early, because early is when mike tyson is going to be as dangerous at most dangerous. I think he's going to be able to play well then and tire him out, and then he's going to hit him with the shot in the seventh round and end it and win it. Okay, all right.

Speaker 3:

Chris, you're up man. Well, I hope that Jake Paul doesn't take it, doesn't take the win. I'm sorry, I've been a doubter this whole time and he's kept surprising me. So you know I might be everybody's bad luck charm, I'm not going to lie, but I do think that it is 58-year-old, mike Tyson, so I really can't call this a fight and I'm leaning more towards Paul. But hopefully Mike just turns back the clock and locks that beast man.

Speaker 3:

I just think that you know that you see everything on social media him talking about him, not necessarily wanting to leave a legacy, and he just wants to. Kind of, it seems like he just wants to get this over with at this point, not necessarily like he's. The competitive fire is still there. So that's what I think might be the difference in this fight. So it's really like nobody has anything. Well, I think Jake Paul has everything to gain with this fight. Mike Tyson really doesn't have anything to lose. Like his legacy cemented, our feelings about him aren't necessarily going to change Now. If he does get knocked down, everybody's going to be like okay.

Speaker 1:

Mike, what are we doing?

Speaker 3:

But I do think that this is going to be a very entertaining fight. I again hoping Paul doesn't win it, but I think that he might have this one.

Speaker 1:

Okay, okay, yeah, and Paul might have this one. Yeah, it's a tough one, man. I've gone back and forth. When it first came out I was like Tyson. Then about a few weeks in, I was like wait a minute, man, tyson is 58 years old and it's hard for me to unsee Kind of similar to Ant-Man, right, it's hard for me to unsee Luka going in there and taking his lunch money at home. It's hard for me to unsee Tyson's last fight against McBride. Right, tyson I'm not counting Roy Jones Tyson was 39, okay, much more swole than he is now, and he's sitting there on the ropes and said I just don't have this in me, no more, right, I'm done, okay, and just look defeated and I don't know if mcbride is that much better than paul. So I mean I yeah and I was back in the day and

Speaker 1:

I was back in the day, so that's weighing on me. But on the other end, right, I see Tyson. I feel like he has a lot more motivation right now. His kids hasn't really seen him, at least his younger kids now. They haven't seen him fight. So I know he wants to show out for them and that's a big motivating factor. I know that firsthand. My kids can motivate you. So you know he has that. So I've just gone back and forth and in the weigh-in man he looked good. He looked good. Now again he's got the knee brace on. You know what I'm saying. He's kind of got the limp. So I'm like, oh okay.

Speaker 2:

I don't know about that, looks great but he's muscularly but I just don't know if he can. He I think he has like the power in him, his upper body, but like I just don't know about his mobility and that knee with the knee brace, that's looking, yeah interesting, so yeah so there's so many factors, man.

Speaker 1:

So, with all that said, I'm a rep. I'm a rep for my era, I'm a rep in my age bracket All these older than me and I'm going to go ahead. And it's as far as money on the table, all right. Officially, I'm going to put my money on the table with Mike Tyson. So I, I started with Mike, I went to Jake Paul. Now this time to actually slip, slip the bet into the to the slot, I'm going with Mike Tyson. So I think we've got $100 going to Haven House Services in Raleigh, north Carolina. They have a boxing program for kids after school. So we're donating $100 to them. So if Tyson wins, it's in my name. If Paul wins, it's in your name, all right.

Speaker 2:

So that's how we're going to do that.

Speaker 1:

Okay, All right, so man anything else on the Tyson-Paul fight?

Speaker 3:

No, let's see Sign to watch it.

Speaker 2:

Let's see let's do it.

Speaker 1:

Cannot wait for that fight, all right. Well, let's move on, man. Let's go to the NFL, man.

Speaker 2:

Snuck in Jay and Daniels. Yes, I had to slide him in because so many people were so high on Jayden Daniels. So hey, you guys might have him in your top three.

Speaker 1:

I can't wait, and we haven't discussed this. At least I haven't. I don't know what your top three is.

Speaker 2:

I don't know if any of us know who has top three. He may be having the CJ fall off a little early, oh man.

Speaker 1:

So, hey, we're week 11 right now. There's 18 weeks in the NFL. We're over the halfway mark. Now it's officially time to start talking MVP. So with that said, Diego, I want you to start us off. Go three to one MVP. Okay, give us three, two, one. Tell us who you have in your race as of today. We know it's fluid and it can change in your race. As of today, we know it's fluid and it can change. Give us your MVP list right now.

Speaker 2:

I have an honorable mention, but I'm going to save that until after. I just have one honorable mention. I think it's a valid one, but I'm going to save that until after.

Speaker 2:

Number three I got Josh Allen. He's put up some good numbers. He hasn't turned it over a lot. Of course he's put up the touchdowns, the yards, and you know, of course he's put up the touchdowns, the yards. For me it's really the record the Bills have and how well he's playing without a digs. That shows a lot for him, shows how much he's grown over the last year, a few years, and he's just been kind of carrying the Bills on his back to victory. So yeah, I got Josh Allen in there. I think he deserves to be in the mix.

Speaker 3:

Number two this, this kind of a shocker. I have saquon barkley.

Speaker 2:

He's been playing amazing this year, like especially lately, like carrying them running touchdowns, even receiving, like he's just been doing everything and like it's just really the impact he has on the eagles. I think he's added a whole new element that's scary and that they didn't have last year. Deandre swift played much better last year and he's on the eagles and how he is playing in chicago, but so the philly backs have always been good, but I think saquon being there has just added another level of just like scariness for them and I think that's why he's in the conversation and number one I got lamar uh, he's just been he's been playing amazing, leading the league and well up there in touchdown passes, passing for a ton of more yards than he's ever passed for okay in this amount.

Speaker 2:

So hasn't turned it over, still been running, uh, for a lot of yards and touchdowns. So I just think he's really playing more like a pure quarterback that can run elitely.

Speaker 3:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

He's kind of playing like Kyler, if he threw it more.

Speaker 1:

Okay, but Tyler, is he kind of playing like Josh Allen, or do you think more like Kyler?

Speaker 2:

That's actually a better comparison.

Speaker 1:

You think more like Josh Allen?

Speaker 2:

He is playing kind of reckless like Josh.

Speaker 1:

Allen a little bit. Yes, he is running reckless. Yeah, I think that's a better comparison.

Speaker 2:

He is playing kind of reckless like Josh Allen.

Speaker 3:

Yes, he is running, reckless yeah.

Speaker 2:

I think that's a better comparison. That's it. And then my honorable mention is Derrick Henry. I would have had him over Saquon, but I just think Saquon's impact on the Eagles was a little bigger and two Ravens in the top three. He has had a big impact. Had to pick Lamar.

Speaker 1:

Derrick, and he's probably had the play of the year with that run where he jumped over the guys.

Speaker 2:

You think I can pull off a backwards hurl you know what.

Speaker 3:

I'm saying Ah.

Speaker 1:

Question is do you think you can pull off a backwards hurl? I don't know If I get the right angle.

Speaker 2:

Do you think you can pull off a backwards hurdle? I don't know If I get the right angle. I think I can. You might be able to jump over.

Speaker 1:

You're getting more and more athletic, so you train like no other, so you might be able to pull it off. All right, okay, all right, okay, good list, good list Now with Lamar, though. Is Lamar eligible Now, though is. Is lamar eligible now? I know you're gonna probably answer that with your list, but don't answer that, that's just. I'm just putting that out. There is lamar jackson eligible for mvp, because some may argue that he has the. Uh, joker, you know asterisk right now to where you know, joker had two mvps and a lot of people didn't want him to get a third mvp, myself included, until he won a title. So kind of feel like he's in that boat with a lot of people didn't want him to get a third MVP, myself included, until he won a title.

Speaker 2:

So kind of feel like he's in that boat with a lot of people, but you clearly think it's OK. I think I got him as my MVP. Ok, I think that's the right pick. But for other people that may be a factor. But you know, since he is a quarterback and he's been playing as well as he has and there's really the running backs been playing as well as he has and there's really the running backs have been playing really well this year. But no receivers. Receivers are usually more in contention nowadays.

Speaker 2:

And no receivers have really been going off like crazy, except for maybe Jamar, but yeah, I think Lamar's got it Okay all right, nice hoodie.

Speaker 1:

By the way, I like that man. Oh yeah, I got these from some pretty cool guys. Way, I like that man. Oh yeah, I got these. I got some some pretty cool guys like that man. Nice, nice swag website. I swag coming out.

Speaker 3:

We'll talk about that more later, all right, all right, my man, chris, you got so three, three to one, three to one. So I actually have a tie for third. So tie to third is derrick henry and saquonley. I do think that these two running backs have kind of changed their offenses, improved the worth of running backs in the NFL, and I just saw a crazy thing that, like, christian McCaffrey is getting paid $19 million a year and Derrick Henry is only getting $8 million, and I don't know if you all have seen that.

Speaker 2:

I've seen that? Yeah, I've seen this season.

Speaker 3:

but Christian just started playing last week, so when?

Speaker 3:

we talk about worth of running backs. We definitely got to look at Derek Henry and Saquon for definitely revitalizing that market and I think those two backs are special. And Saquon is especially like the Eagles offense was already very potent and everyone's like, oh, it's their offensive line, but they lost Jason Kelseysey and they are still performing really well. And saquon, I feel like, is like it feels like having like a shady mccoy back there again, where it's just like a back that like can really win you games. And then derrick henry I believe that one two punch with lamar is something crazy, but I'll have the other guy a little bit later. Number two Josh Allen. I love basically how the Bills have been playing Big win against the Chiefs. That might impact the race. I believe that these games on Sunday might kind of sway voters in a certain way.

Speaker 3:

With the Ravens and the Steelers and the Chiefs and the Bills, so I'm definitely excited for both of those games on Sunday. But I do think Josh Allen has been performing some of his best football. But Lamar Jackson is my MVP and, like you mentioned, with the Jokic thing, I think it was like last year or the year before when everybody said that he wanted an MVP, that Embiid should have won, and I feel like that's the same energy I feel for like lamar's second mvp last year.

Speaker 3:

Okay, because to me he's, he hasn't played quarterback this well like in his career. Like the first mvp was like okay, shock and awe, ravens are like 14 and 2 and like he threw for like 30 something touches. I'm crazy the fact that he's already about to surpass that. In less games he's thrown for the most yards that he's had. And just how he's playing, like the energy it's, it feels different and I understand the whole eligibility thing and as a and lamar jackson is possibly my favorite player in the league outside, like justin jefferson, I think that lamar to me it is it's show and tell. Like I'm happy if he wants a regular season mvp and I'm happy for the raven success, but we need this lamar jackson to show up in the playoffs and I believe that, like last year, after last year, I kind of have like a bit of like buyer's remorse, a little bit with that mvp that he won last year, with how he performed versus the chiefs. Yeah, because again that defense showed up in the second half and lamar didn't necessarily play up to par to help out the team. So I believe, listen, he has the team on his back because now he has to be, yes, the great quarterback that he, we all know he is, because that defense has been porous this season. So I definitely think without him the ravens would not be the team that they are this season.

Speaker 3:

So I think lamar jackson is the mvp. But again it's show and tell. Like you, you gotta, you gotta show up in versus the steelers this week so y'all can be first in your division and then come, come playoff time. Like I need the Super Bowl run. It's showing through time it's no longer like oh, because everybody at this point is like oh, lamar Lamar might be the most talented quarterback in the league. He's better than Mahomes, all this stuff right, but I've seen Mahomes put that team on his back and come playoff time. So we got to like I think we need to calm down Lamar playoff time until he has like a Mahomes-like playoff run, oh yeah.

Speaker 3:

So I definitely think again he's the MVP, but this is like just a stepping stone for the bigger goals that he needs to achieve this season.

Speaker 1:

Well, actually I have my top three here, so I'm going to give you mine.

Speaker 3:

I know I've been letting y'all have y'all lists.

Speaker 1:

I had to put mine in on this one, but I have. Okay, oh boy. Yeah, it is oh boy, because we're gonna get some shockers on this one. However, I do have a question. So okay, let's say, since you guys both have them, number one as of right now. You clearly don't think he's ineligible by winning two without winning the super bowl or even getting to a Super Bowl. I think it's probably more, even getting to the Super Bowl. Let's say, he wins MVP this year and they don't get to the Super Bowl, and then next year he's killing it and tearing it up.

Speaker 3:

At what point is?

Speaker 1:

he ineligible At that point.

Speaker 3:

At that point I'm sorry, okay, okay, you would already have three.

Speaker 1:

I'm sorry Okay okay.

Speaker 2:

So that's the threshold. You would already have three.

Speaker 3:

Like players that win three MVPs.

Speaker 2:

They already are kind of just like not really in contention anymore. People are trying to get other people in. Okay, okay. Even if he made it to the Super Bowl, it would still be hard to get four.

Speaker 1:

Just trying to understand your tolerance. Oh yeah, no, I understand voter fatigue for like last season.

Speaker 3:

But I trying to understand your tolerance, oh yeah, no, I understand your fatigue. Yeah, for like last season, but I feel like last season his numbers are definitely not as good and he's definitely playing better. Plus, everybody could have the argument that the defense was better this year. So it really was like more complimentary football. Lamar still was special, but this year especially, it's like okay, he's the reason why they're winning all these games, okay.

Speaker 1:

All right. Okay, good to understand that, all right. So let me go into my list. I'll try to be brief here with my list. So, number three I've got Tua. I've got Tua at number three. I've got to say something. Go ahead, all right.

Speaker 2:

Shout out to Chuba Hubbard. I'm just saying All right, shout out to Chuba Hubbard.

Speaker 3:

I'm just saying Shout out to Chuba Hubbard. Oh yeah, Very Carolina fan.

Speaker 2:

I just wanted to say we were talking about MVP and I didn't have him in the top three. I just wanted to shout out to Chuba Hubbard yeah, it's just a shout out for what you just said.

Speaker 1:

I don't know.

Speaker 2:

He's an honorable mention because he's been playing great this year.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I'm not just going with it. My bad, I just had to say that that's okay. Okay, so you said how to? Is it Chuba or Chubba Chubba, chubba, chubba. My bad, I probably said.

Speaker 2:

Chubba.

Speaker 1:

So, tua, I've got him at number three. Okay, tell me somebody that's more valuable to their team.

Speaker 3:

Chubba, I'll wait, possibly chuba hubbard, I'll go live. Okay, listen, I understand, but it's also on mike mcdaniel for not coaching and give it and having like an accurate backup. Like I don't think as much as I think tua is a great player and he means everything to that dolphins offense if you're an offensive head coach. Why don't you have a solid backup quarterback plan for a guy you know is concussion prone like that's low yeah.

Speaker 3:

Even though Joe Flacco hasn't been playing. Well, get something. Get a vet somewhere where you can, because again, I don't know if you saw, but Tua, there was an interception. He tried to get a tackle head first, I'm like bro, what are we doing?

Speaker 1:

That was crazy. What are we doing? I don't understand why he's still diving head first. This is ridiculous. I don't understand why he's diving head first.

Speaker 1:

He should go with anything but his head, maybe his knee or whatever Exactly so it's not his head, but yeah, tua, I mean, he's clearly shown his value to the team. They couldn't even run the ball with you know, mostert, or any of those guys with him out. Injuries started popping out of nowhere. Yeah, injuries started popping out of nowhere. And then, when Tua left, we could not find Tyreek. Tyreek, I didn't know where he was. Okay, and that was crazy, because I think the consensus was that Tyreek was the number one receiver in the NFL. And then all of a sudden, he loses Tua and he can barely get 25 yards. So that was very interesting. So I think he's shown his worth. So clearly is he playing as one of the top three people in the NFL? No, I understand that, but I'm going by most valuable. So if I'm going by that to the letter, I don't.

Speaker 1:

I don't know, three guys more valuable to their team than Tua is, so.

Speaker 2:

I'll put Chuba number one on mine, You're not wrong.

Speaker 3:

That's crazy. I'm with Diego on that one. He is not wrong about how he's revitalized the Panthers running game. Hey, we haven't had a back like him since Christian left. Okay.

Speaker 1:

I'll give you guys that Number two Derrick Henry. Okay, Derrick Henry has been phenomenal this year. Derrick Henry. Two derrick henry. Okay, derrick henry has been phenomenal this year. Yeah, derrick henry's been phenomenal this year. Uh, somebody on this set I won't say who, uh said that he should be the number one running back drafted in this league and in fantasy. Uh, he's been great. It was clear to me that derrick henry was gonna ball out this year going.

Speaker 2:

Yeah the baltimore raid, I knew he was at least gonna be like top two, I don't understand why ESPN had what did ESPN have?

Speaker 1:

Number nine? That was absolutely ridiculous.

Speaker 2:

And then they had your boy from. B.

Speaker 1:

John. Yeah, B John. Number one and two was B John and.

Speaker 2:

Brees Hall and Brees Hall.

Speaker 1:

I don't know what their fascination is with those two running backs, but the last few years they've had them at one or two. I don't understand that at all. Um, and then number one I've got josh allen. I've got josh allen number one. Uh, he's balling, doing his thing. Uh, I knew he was gonna ball out without having digs and he's done just that spread the ball out by committee. Still reckless hope he can stay upright and healthy. But as it stands right now I've got him number one. So that's my mvp list. So we got diversity. But, man, uh, we got jayden daniels on the screen here. Yeah, nobody had jayden daniels on the list.

Speaker 2:

Shout out to shivan and kingston okay yeah, shout out to my commander fans yes but uh, yeah, nah it's too soon.

Speaker 3:

I think that I appreciate the fact that he revitalized the Commanders and given them hope. Especially after that Hail Mary everybody was like, oh, jaden, and again he's very good. But I think the Steelers and Command and Eagles game last night showed, hey, he's still a rookie, he's still got some. Because there was like two potential drives that he had to like win both of those games and they just didn't have it again. Could that be on cliff kingsbury having his? You know we start out high and then, as the season goes, on, you know, oh yeah slows down a little, that might be a thing, but I think

Speaker 3:

that. I think that jayden's still good, but that's a great. Yeah, I think jayaden Daniels is still one of the best quarterbacks he's had in a great season. But I feel like it's the Chrysler 300 and Phantom thing, like when he met a real team in the Steelers and the Eagles. Now he's got the Titans and Saints next, but then you've got the Falcons Eagles I think it's Cowboys, titans and Saints and then you've got the Falcons Eagles I think it's Cowboys, titans and Saints and then you've got Falcons Eagles on the back, and so I mean they could get 10, maybe 11 wins and still sneak in in the playoffs, but I don't think they're winning the division.

Speaker 1:

Nah, I think that game last night proved that and we're going to talk about that game in a minute. But I believe we have a question Summer Can minute minute? But believe we have a question, summer, can you pull that up, okay? So, uh, oh man, oh, okay, good question. So who is the biggest fantasy football disappointment? Maybe tyree yeah, maybe tyree. Good yeah, yeah, because tyree has been hurt.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but yeahaffrey's been hurt.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's been McCaffrey. Yeah, it's been McCaffrey.

Speaker 2:

The thing with him is that it was so out of the blue too, like the injury, he was questionable, then he was out and then he was on IR and he missed nine weeks.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, yeah, that's a great point, great question.

Speaker 3:

CJ Stroud and Mark Andrews. I drafted both of them. I got two people. Great question. Cj Stroud and Mark Andrews. I drafted both of them, Mark.

Speaker 1:

Andrews.

Speaker 3:

Mark Andrews hurt me because I thought you know Raven's tight end. He's had good years, that was cool yeah, brandon and CJ. I don't even want to start man. He will have like again. I thought you know all the weapons Texans offense. They're going to be on it here. There's been a lot that sophomore slump happened, so you know that was. Somebody could have seen this coming.

Speaker 2:

Somebody saw this coming. Oh, really, Sophomore slump. See, Bryce is on the sophomore ups. Oh man.

Speaker 1:

Is he oh? Yeah, Didn't the same guy that got benched Are more slump, Is he oh?

Speaker 2:

yeah, didn't the same guy that got benched? Are we forgetting that Bryce got benched? That rejuvenated him, okay. That gave him the boost he needed. To be great, because he had been starting his whole life, he had been like the chosen one his whole life and now he got humbled. And now he's got something to prove and he's playing his best, okay okay, so playing with a little uncomfortable.

Speaker 1:

Is it going to be the same thing with Anthony Richardson? So him getting benched.

Speaker 2:

The same thing, Maybe, but he tapped out.

Speaker 3:

He kind of asked for that, oh, wow Okay.

Speaker 1:

That's great. That's great, okay. Well, let's move on to. We're going to go into week 11 here. We're going to get into our picks in a second, but, uh, before we do that, let's talk about the commanders eagles. So we're already starting to talk about the commanders. Uh, we don't have to go too deep into that game, since it already happened. But just give me your take, uh, diego, on the commanders. They, you know, started off great. Now they've lost two in a row. Are they coming back to earth? Are? Are they going to make the playoffs?

Speaker 2:

kind of, give us your take on the commanders I still think they'll make the playoffs because they have a pretty soft. They still have a pretty soft schedule. Um, they just had two tough ones the steelers the steelers always going to be a rough physical game and the eagles and the eagles in philly we knew was going to be tough. But they they do have some easy games and I think they're a nice little team. Nice little team, but they're definitely not the best team in their division. The Eagles are and shout out to the fans, but still I think they'll make the playoffs.

Speaker 1:

So the Carolina Panthers says nice little team about the commanders. That's funny.

Speaker 2:

So the Carolina, Panthers says nice little team about the commanders.

Speaker 3:

That's funny. They didn't put a 40 on us when they had their backup quarterback in and Jane was played.

Speaker 2:

So we had Andy Dalton. Now that was before the resurgence of Bryce Young, that was before he understood it now. Okay, all right.

Speaker 3:

But I think I honestly think the Commanders will make the playoffs, but the Eagles, they've just been on a heater and I think that Saquon, turning up Jalen Hurts still doing his thing, I think they're outside of the lines. I think the Eagles are the other team that I kind of think could make a run for the Super Bowl, because their defense has improved over the past two since the bye. I think that their corners Quingott Mitchell and again I started Terry McLaurin last night and if you know, quingott Mitchell had double in hell, so I'm not going to lie, it was going to shrap the whole time. It was not great. So I think that the Eagles' secondary has vastly improved after last season, because that was the reason for the collapse. Their defensive line still performs well.

Speaker 3:

Zach Bond has been a breakout star. Plus, saquon is going to make his plays, especially during the end of the games. He's like that closer at the end of the games where you need to get that home run at the end of the game. That's what Saquon can do for you. So I think that he's definitely shown his value to the team and I hope that I honestly hope that the Eagles, you know, surprise people this year and go on a run. I still want the Lions to come out the NFC but I think the Eagles are definitely one of the teams. I think the Eagles and the Lions will be the two teams at the end.

Speaker 1:

Shout out to Jack C. Yeah, big shout out to Jack C. Jack C has been a co-host on the show before Big time Eagles fan. He is the resident Pick'em Pro Philadelphia expert. We'll definitely have to have him on at some point as we get a little later in the season to get his take on Philly. Definitely we got to get his take on the Sixers For sure.

Speaker 1:

We got to get that. So, jack, see if you're watching man, we got to get your. Take man, okay, all right. Well, let's move on to these Week 11 picks, man. So first game Diegogo man. Once you get us started, man, we got the uh chicago bears. Um are uh hosting the green bay packers. Green bay is a six and a half point favorite going into soldier field. I believe this is so good. This isn't overseas, right okay who you got.

Speaker 2:

I got the Packers in this one. There's just so much drama going on with the Bears right now that I just can't pick them right now. I mean the Packers. They're a good team. I still think there's a few things that's wrong with them. Jordan Love's turning the ball over too much, but just everything going on with the Bears is just hard to pick them right now. Yeah, yeah, Okay.

Speaker 3:

I really don't expect the Bears to do so much after flying their offensive coordinator.

Speaker 3:

I'm glad he was fired, but I think Ibrahimovic needs to go as well. So I got the Packers in this one. I think that Caleb's having a bright situation where everybody's kind of freaking out. It's like he lost a drink man. Jada Dagels, is it really him? But I'm like, bro, please calm down. I think that to me, the best quarterbacks have been surrounded by good pieces, and Drake May has even succeeded with the limited stuff even the Patriots have had. So he's won a couple games. So I think that, yeah, I honestly think that he's gonna have the bryce young thing until they figure out the coach, they figure out, uh, the stuff with the offensive line, and their defense is still playing their butts off. So it might be a closer game if jordan love has some of his you know jordan love turnovers.

Speaker 1:

But I still got the packers on this one yeah, yeah, I think this is one of the no-brainers of the week, for sure. And the bears, like I've said before, on the show they have their carousel. They are like the winter Olympics and the summer Olympics.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

So every two years there there's a major Okay, so it's, it's on a cycle. So every four years the quarterback changes. It's the quarterback's fault, and every four years it's the coach's fault. So now it's time for the coach, and then two years from now, they'll get rid of Caleb Williams and they'll get another quarterback and they'll just keep resetting. Then it'll be the coach. That's just how they do in Chicago. That's what they do. Yep, they're the winter, that's all it is. So, yeah, so yeah, this is a no-brainer. I definitely want to go with the Packers in this one. All right, let's move on to the next one. We got Jacksonville traveling to Detroit to play the Lions. Good gracious, is that a misprint? Detroit is a 13-point favorite. Wow, diego, take this one away.

Speaker 2:

Man, yeah, this is going to get rough, especially with Goff throwing the five interceptions last game. He's he's gonna be looking to uh get back mvp race and show why he's still legit. And yeah, the lions, this lines are gonna win big. Uh, sorry, feels bad for mac jones. And yeah, what happened to trevor?

Speaker 3:

yeah, he got injured.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's his look up. Oh yeah, yeah, Counting his money. Yeah, he's lying.

Speaker 1:

He has a thumb injury Counting his money.

Speaker 3:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

All right, broke it on your money counter.

Speaker 3:

Honestly, yeah, I got the lines of this one. Guys, Like I'm not, I don't even want to waste time on this.

Speaker 1:

We know what time it is.

Speaker 3:

Listen that was an abysmal performance from a Lions offense that had been playing their butts off before Sunday and they still won a close one. Listen, I think this is one of those prove-it-blow games. Shoot, honestly, do they beat them more than they beat Dallas? That's what I'm trying to see. Like, hey, if they run up the score more than they did on Dallas, yeah, for real man, yeah, beat downtown.

Speaker 1:

This is another no-brainer Shout-out to Silas. Silas, one of our super supporters, man, appreciate you. Out of Canada, representing Canada said Lions winning by 50. So, yeah, you may not be too off on that, silas, but yeah, silas is our guy man and so we got to skip ahead a little bit here. We've got memberships dropping here in a couple of days, so we definitely want to encourage everyone. Once we start promoting that and give you that ability, you'll have a chance to become a member and there's a whole lot that's going to come with becoming a member. So you'll be eligible for all of our raffles, all types of stuff. When I tell you some of the stuff that we're going to be raffling, oh man, it's going to be fire.

Speaker 1:

So you definitely won't want to be a member and you know we always show preferential treatment to our day ones, and Silas is one of our day ones, so we appreciate you. Yeah, so we'll get that membership All right. So I just wanted to plug that. So let's get to the next game. We've got the Las Vegas Raiders traveling down to Miami, where McDaniels will be wearing his Rolex, watch, his hoodie, his shades. He's all happy. Now he's got tools, he's got his weapons and they got a bad team coming in, so he's going to be flexing, he's going to have his pants leg up and everything. So Diego man, miami's seven-and-a-half-point favorite, who we got in this, one.

Speaker 2:

I got Miami. Daniel's got his swagger back, now he's got Tua and yeah, yeah, I just think they're hungry for more wins. They got a nice win against the Rams last week and the Raiders might arguably be the worst team in the league. I think they're just trying to stack up wins, try to give themselves some hope. So, yeah, going with Miami. Okay, chris Got Miami in this one.

Speaker 3:

I just think the Raiders oof hey man, let's see if y'all can get a quarterback in the draft, because it's not looking good and I feel bad for Antonio Pierce man. Yeah, because Max Crosby had definitely expressed you know how much he like, wanted him as a coach. Montay adams expressed how much he wanted. Yes, he's.

Speaker 3:

He's had a rough go of it I'm not gonna lie, maybe everybody bought it. After that chiefs win of like, oh, they're tough. The raiders of old are back and I'm like no, they still don't got the requisite talent, so it's, it's not happening. But I got the dolphins in this one they they bail not happening.

Speaker 1:

But I got the Dolphins in this one, they bailed. The second they could bail. So yeah, he really that's probably one of the worst things that could have happened for him was to take that head coaching job. Just like all money is not good money, all contracts are not good contracts, all you know, head coaching jobs are not good head coaching jobs.

Speaker 2:

Devontae Adams fooled him man. Coaching jobs are not good head coaching jobs. Devontae Adams fooled him, man. The receiver show came out at the wrong time it was like over the summer during training camp.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, man, yeah, yeah, I got fooled on that one. All right, so that's another no-brainer. All right, so let's go to the next one. We've got the LA Rams traveling to New England to play the Patriots man, the hot Patriots. All of a sudden, england to play the Patriots man, the hot Patriots. All of a sudden, the Rams are a five-point favorite on the road Diego. Are you going with the upset or are you going with the Rams? I'm going with LA.

Speaker 2:

I don't trust Drake man. I haven't trusted them since UNC. I'm going to continue not doing that.

Speaker 3:

I don't like UNC.

Speaker 1:

I'm going with the Rams. You don't like unc. So yeah, I'm going with the rams man, you don't like a lot of naku I mean cooper cup.

Speaker 2:

Those are my guys, okay, and rams and stafford, you know, yeah yeah, yeah, your favorite t-shirt is that dingy rams t-shirt that you always wear, you know. Yeah, I low-key, do mess with la.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I like the rams because that that was your first although you're undefeated in picking super bowls but that was your first super bowl that you picked and that was the rams bangle, so you got the rams there. So I think you got a little nostalgia there. Okay, all right, you got the rams. How about you, chris? I got the rams in this one.

Speaker 3:

I'm not gonna lie, that was a very close one versus miami. I think that Rams are kind of going to be out for a while after, feeling like they lost a very winnable game, and especially in that division which has kind of been top six here, but they're not as far back as you might think. So I think that they still want to make a run and, seeing that they already beat the 49ers, they can definitely beat the Cardinals again. I think that the Rams can definitely need to win this game and shit.

Speaker 1:

All right. Well, hey, man, you know what I'm going with? The upset in this one I'm going with the home team. Ever since the coach called his guys out, they've been a whole new team. They're three and seven. All right. Well, that's all right, but they've won. They've won two games since he called them out and had a big upset last week. I think they ride that momentum in front of that raucous home crowd and they're going to get this win and this is going to be the win that's finally going to bring the chain back on home to me and allow me to see you don't even rock the chain, but trust me when I get that chain. Oh man, I'm going to be sleeping with the chain. Dude, when was the last time you had the the chain?

Speaker 2:

but trust me when I get that chain. Oh man, I'm going to be sleeping with the chain. Dude, when was the last time.

Speaker 1:

Have you had the chain all year. No, I haven't had the chain all year. Never had the chain all year. But that's all right. Now's the time. The Patriots that's going to be it. He called his team soft and they respond. A lot of people questioned that move but they responded to it. Shout out to kip henson. Yeah, yeah, yeah, definitely shout out to that.

Speaker 2:

That's the squad yeah, yeah, all right yeah, shout out to kip.

Speaker 1:

He's another one that he's. They stood in for you that week when you got when you when you went missing yeah, all right. Okay, sounds good. Well, let's move on to the next one. We've got, uh, the cleveland browns traveling to new orleans to play the saints maybe a thriller. Yeah, this is uh the game of the week the saints. Uh, a one-point favorite at home. Oh, man finish without laughing yeah, for real, diego. Who can have?

Speaker 2:

this one man. I'm actually going with the underdog here. I'm going to go with Jameis and the Browns. The Saints have that home field advantage. They got that coach. That coach is funny though he is funny New guy is. But yeah, Jameis and the Browns. Saints Olave is out with his concussion, oh yeah, yeah, Saints Olave's out with his concussion and Kamara's banged up. Derek Carr, People are running him out the building. They might have benched him. I don't even know. I'm going with the underdog and the Cleveland Browns.

Speaker 3:

I'm actually going with the Saints.

Speaker 1:

I mean home crowd they definitely want to have one of those ugly defensive games.

Speaker 3:

It's going to be one of those ugly defensive games. It's going to be like 10-9 by the time it's over. Oof, I know the schedule makers did not see this coming and I think that's a testament to this league, because the next couple games we have up there's a bunch of bad teams, so we will definitely see what happens. But yeah, I got the sense of this one Okay.

Speaker 1:

Wow, yeah, yeah, this rating is going to be bad on this one. So I'm going with the upset, like Diego. I'm going with Jameis Winston, the crab leg Winston. Yeah, man, I think he's got his homecoming, going home to New Orleans where he had a cup of coffee, and I think he's going to pull this one out and get the win. So I've got Cleveland in this one. Not really much else to say. I don't even want to spend any more time on that. All right, so let's move on. Let's move on to the next one. We've got the Indianapolis Colts in another thriller here. We've got the Indianapolis Colts and another thriller here We've got. Anthony Richardson is back in the starting line. I know you had it right Anthony Richardson is back in the starting lineup. We've got the Colts versus the Jets. Let's go back to that one there. There we go. The Jets are a three-point favorite at home. Man.

Speaker 2:

Diego who you got. I'm going with the Colts here the upset. I just can't go for the Jets anymore. They just let me down. And I learned that a few weeks ago they had that Thursday night game when no one was expecting it at home, garrett and all that. But then they played the Cardinals and Rodgers looking bad and Garrett was looking okay and Devontae was looking bad. I'm going with the Colts just because I do not trust the Rodgers and the Jets Not losing a pick because of them. That's what made me mad.

Speaker 3:

I think the Colts won this one. Anthony richardson's revitalized. And I'm not gonna lie, aaron rogers has been very disappointing this season and as an aaron rogers hater, I've been smiling this whole time. Man, oh, my goodness right on this downfall, we're seeing you live, man, because, listen, you asked for your buddy, right, you asked for the fagel hackett, the f faggle hacking ain't even the offensive coordinator anymore, Devontae.

Speaker 3:

you and him have had your communication issues, so I'm just saying, hey, aaron, you know this is the team you chose. Everybody said like this is like a LeBron situation without the winning.

Speaker 1:

And it's like he has all the control of the team and he's like you know he's.

Speaker 3:

You know the vocal leader. He's always on the mcafee show, always like pointing a finger, but not pointing a finger because he's like, oh, the offense has to step it up. People are paying attention to the details. It just feels like how we ended with the packers. You know where it was a lot of finger pointing and blaming instead of looking inward. So next time, go in the dark, look inward and honestly realize hey, bro, you're a diva and you're washed. Let's wrap this up.

Speaker 2:

The young guys.

Speaker 3:

Lovely young guys. I'm sorry you ain't Brady bro, I hate to tell you, Everyone thinks they're Brady man. Until Brady show up. So Everyone thinks they're Brady man.

Speaker 1:

Everyone thinks they're Brady until Brady shows up. That's all I'm going to say. And this. So this is funny. I've got the Colts as well, but he said he's probably going to come back next year.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, good luck with that.

Speaker 3:

It ain't looking great for you, bro, I'm not going to lie Might be a backup. I'm going to wrap this up?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think I don. Who would want him, you know, because it's everything that he's going to bring and the drama.

Speaker 2:

Maybe the Cleveland Browns will want him.

Speaker 3:

Oh, yeah, yet another super quarterback. They would want him.

Speaker 1:

Let him make it, I don't even know if he might be too rich, even for their blood. I don't know. I don't know if they would want him. So, yeah, post that. Who would want Rodgers next year? So put that in the comments. I want to see if anybody thinks that there's a team that would want rogers next year. All right, well, let's move on to the next game. We've got the baltimore ravens. Oh, this is, oh, it's gonna be a good divisional game here. Traveling to pm we got, we got some. I think we've got good games almost for the rest of this list here. All right, so ravens travel to pittsburgh. The Steelers, the Ravens, are a three and a half point favorite. On the road Diego. Who do you got in?

Speaker 2:

this one. Yeah, this is always a good matchup Ravens Steelers. I'm honestly going with the Ravens, mostly because I would be very mad if I picked the Steelers and they lost for some reason. I just don't want to lose with the Steelers. I feel you on that. I'd rather just go with the better team, I think, and roll the dice Okay, okay, this is always a tough one.

Speaker 1:

You're letting us into the mind of Fuego Diego and how you pick games.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I guess, so, I guess, so, rolling the dice.

Speaker 1:

All right, well, you do have 14 and 0 on your resume this year and you do have many people that actually put down based on your picks. Yeah, smart people, okay, all right, okay, I wonder. So, um, now, who's putting down based on my picks? We'll have to get, we'll have to get a poll of that and see if anybody's doing that.

Speaker 2:

So do not do that. I'm sure there's a ton of people.

Speaker 3:

So yeah, I'm sure there's a ton of people putting down on my picks and see if anybody's doing that.

Speaker 1:

Do not do that. See somebody laughing in the background. I'm sure there's a ton of people. So yeah, I'm sure there's a ton of people putting down on my page. All right, Chris, who?

Speaker 3:

you got man. All right, I have the Ravens in this one. Listen, this is one of those. The Steelers, unfortunately, these past few years have always seemed to have Lamar's number. I mean number, I mean last year, when they played like in pittsburgh. There was like eight drops or something crazy like that this, this is the game.

Speaker 3:

Lean on derrick henry, let lamar make a couple spectacular plays and win the game. I'm just oh, that defense scares me, and the way that russell wilson's been playing, I got the ravens by like a field goal at the end. Like I'm not. I think it's going to be a lot closer than people expect and just because the steelers, it's it's like they have the same energy as the chiefs, like they they somehow. It's because it's mike tomlin's energy too, it's like they eat out wins.

Speaker 2:

You're just like how did they do that?

Speaker 3:

so I think that, yeah, they are a very, very team. I think the Commander's Game show that Russ still has it. You know, mr Unlimited looks like he's, you know, back to his like prime Seattle days, with Throne of Pickens and Mike Williams at the end. So again I have the Ravens by a field goal. But, man, I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers won this one.

Speaker 1:

Okay, okay, all right, all right. Well, hey, I'm putting them on the table. I'm going with the Steelers. I got the Steelers in this one man, russ, is cooking, cooking it up you know what I'm saying, mr. Unlimited. Got the ball going high in the air just falling out the sky

Speaker 2:

throwing those moon balls.

Speaker 1:

And man, they're at home, I'm going with them. And and man, they're at home, I'm going with them. And the Ravens have been streaky. They've definitely dropped some. It is the same team that lost to the Raiders the Ravens need to put in Deontay Johnson to get his revenge, yeah exactly he's going to have some dumb drops too, so let's not do that.

Speaker 3:

He will.

Speaker 1:

He will. He definitely will man Ravens acting like they got to steal. I'm like, no, that's okay, you can have them. Yeah, that's all right.

Speaker 3:

It's on the Bengals game live.

Speaker 1:

We know the truth Exactly. Go right ahead. You can have them, but yeah, where?

Speaker 2:

I get you, man. I'm taking that chain, I'm snatching that chain.

Speaker 1:

I'm snatching that chain off your chest like Debo man. I don't feel like relying on Russell Wilson. Oh man, russell's going to cook. He's going to cook, all right. Okay, let's go on to the next one here. We've got Minnesota Vikings traveling to Tennessee, so we got one good team in this matchup, the Titans. Minnesota is a six-point favorite on the road. What do we got?

Speaker 2:

Diego, yeah, I got the Vikings Titans just a bad team and I'm not picking them probably the rest of the year. Honestly, I'm just saying that right now. And the Vikings, they've been playing well. They're 6-2, probably 7-2, I think they're 6-2. Probably 7-2, I think they're 7-2. And they're looking to get some more wins today in the playoff race. I'm going with them.

Speaker 1:

How about you, chris, the Vikings?

Speaker 3:

in this one, sam Darnold Lockhead, bro, the one where he do it against the Jaguars. Three interceptions, bro. You was in MVP talks earlier this season. Man, I need you to block in and get JA Jettis the ball because, as a Justin Jefferson fan, I was hurt last week and seeing that TJ Hawkinson had more yards than him, it cannot happen. Please target Justin Jefferson because Jamar Chase is having an all-world season Number one wide receiver argument. This season is getting a little coached by Javar.

Speaker 2:

Chase. You know how they are. They like to you know when one of them balls out, the other one tries to. You know.

Speaker 3:

Just do your thing, that's absolutely true.

Speaker 1:

That's it, okay, all right. Well, yeah, this is a no-bra, so let's move on to the next one. We've got the Atlanta Falcons going to Denver to play the Broncos. Broncos are a two-point favorite at home. Diego, who you got, I'm going with the Broncos.

Speaker 2:

I remember when I was picking this game, the Falcons seemed to have a lot of questionable players, it seemed like about 10, 20 players are questionable. So, they look a little banged up. Denver's got the altitude, they're at home and they've been playing solid this year Bo Nix looking good, so I'm going to go with them, okay.

Speaker 3:

I actually might change my pick. Yeah, I might go with the Broncos because I feel like Kirk Cousins, especially in altitude, might have one of those off Kirk Cousins games, because that's the thing that we've seen this whole season with him is like it's Mr Jekyll and Hyde. You can see there's some games. You know he throws for 500 yards and he's swag surfing and everybody's like happy about that.

Speaker 3:

Then there's other games, like he had versus Seattle. I think the Broncos are very good defense. I yeah, I actually have the Broncos in this one. So let me change my pick.

Speaker 1:

Cause I didn't have the five of us. I'm actually with the broncos. Yeah, man, man, shout out to doctors because my gosh, I mean you know the, the achilles injury used to be oh yeah, career ended and now you got a guy in his mid-30s tears his achilles, not even like first week of the season and he's back and it's like you know no big deal. Him KD.

Speaker 3:

All these guys tearing their Achilles late in their career, coming right back.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 3:

Rodgers might not have had the same doctor as the other guys he had to call Kirk's people. Man, yeah, for real, he's going to follow yours.

Speaker 1:

I'm like okay, yeah, he got you. That's right. I think Rodgers had the same doctor as Dak.

Speaker 3:

God, man, that's not funny, because Dak don't move the same.

Speaker 1:

Dak don't move the same either. He's about half as fast as he used to be before that injury. But anyway, yeah, yeah, kirk definitely has. Kirk has the best agent in NFL history and he's got one of the best doctors.

Speaker 2:

He's got some good one of the best.

Speaker 3:

He's got some good people around him.

Speaker 1:

Kirk has an all-star crew around him. My goodness, kind of like me. We got Joe, we got Summer, we got everybody. We got the all-star team around us, alright. Well, let's move on to the next one here. We've got the all-star team of rounders, okay, all right. Well, let's move on to the next one here. We've got the Seattle Seahawks. Ooh, it's going to be interesting. Oh, and I had the Broncos in that game. All right, we got Seattle Seahawks traveling to the Bay to play the Niners in this divisional showdown. San Francisco is a six and a half point favorite.

Speaker 2:

Oh, like every week, the betters have the San Francisco winning by a major amount. I don't know why.

Speaker 1:

Tell us about this one, Diego.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to go with San Francisco on this one. Seattle's been falling off a little bit. Since their 3-0 start they got McCaffrey back trying to stack up some wins and get higher up in the division, get ahead of the Cardinals. I'm going to go with the Niners, Okay.

Speaker 1:

What about you, Chris?

Speaker 3:

The Niners in this one. I do think that McCaffrey being back is definitely going to revitalize them. Seattle still a team that's learning Everybody after three of those starts was like. Gino's an MVP candidate. The Legion of Boom is back. No, they're still a young team figuring stuff out. I definitely got the Niners in this one.

Speaker 1:

Okay, y'all got the Niners man. Shout-out to Brandon too, our other super subscriber man. Shout-out to you, brandon man, you got to be a member. We have a lot of stuff coming your way. So shout out to you, brandon. And we got to have you on again soon, brandon too. So yeah, man, the Niners is interesting, because with McCaffrey that sways me a little bit. But the Niners to me have been struggling in division. I think their divisional opponents definitely know them. They to me don't seem to play as well in the division.

Speaker 2:

So I've got the Seahawks in an upset.

Speaker 1:

Oh, now you're picking the Seahawks. Yes, yes, now I'm picking the Seahawks. I was picking against them a little earlier in the season, but I've got them to go in and get the upset in this divisional matchup, so I'm going with them All right. So, oh man, ooh, game of the week for real here. My Game of the week for real here. My goodness, this is like 425 Eastern start. I believe We've got the undefeated. Was it seven? What was the rest?

Speaker 2:

Nine and O Nine and.

Speaker 1:

O, okay, I'm losing track. My goodness, that's crazy. Nine and O Kansas City Chiefs travel to Buffalo. Might be a little chilly to play my Bills and Josh Allen, my MVP leader at this point. Buffalo is a two-and.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to go with Buffalo in this one because, josh Allen, really the Bills seem to have a cycle every year to where they play the Chiefs. Pretty much every year in the regular season they beat them and they get all hype and usually it's in Arrowhead. This time it's going to be in Buffalo, but they're going to get all hype. Then they're going to lose to them in the playoffs so yeah, this is their annual uh.

Speaker 1:

This is the annual hype win against the chiefs, so congratulations to them, that's funny kind of like the cowboys, like a a few years ago, when they win, win the meaningless games in the regular season and they're losing the playoff. Now they just lose. All right, chris, what you got man. Sadly, I got the chiefs in this one losing the playoff, now they just lose Dak Dak game. Yeah, yeah, alright, chris, what you got man.

Speaker 3:

Sadly, I got the Chiefs in this one. I'm not going to lie as much as I want to believe in the regular season Bills and them always having their number, I think the Chiefs crazy, devil, magic, whatever you want to call it. I don't know what they are doing down there.

Speaker 1:

I don't know what they are doing down there.

Speaker 3:

I don't know what. What deal they saw when the patriots out of c9 somebody else had to take over the reins but, I, I really got the cheese of this one man. I think you know, somehow, some way my homes or the defense is going to do something spectacular to win that game and everybody's going to be complaining about saying like, oh my gosh, I can't believe they did it again. And they're going to do it again.

Speaker 3:

I think the Kansas City Chiefs might be 10-0. And then the Panthers have the funniest thing, have the potential to do the funniest thing the week after.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I kind of hope they win. Let's see if the funniest thing happens. Yeah, then they got the Panthers next week.

Speaker 1:

After they played the Bills.

Speaker 2:

It's no telling man Shout out to Epi who was in Buffalo a few weeks ago.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, definitely shout out, man, that's one place definitely high, high on the list that I want to get to. I really want to go to.

Speaker 1:

Buffalo Bill, yeah, I want to see that for sure. Okay, for sure, okay, yeah, I'm going with the bills in this one, um, riding with them. Yeah, if the chiefs pull this one off, we're gonna have to have cat williams on and and and explain the deal that they made, uh, because, uh, yeah, yeah, it's, it's, um, I don't know what they would have done, but, yeah, I got the bills in this one. I think they cover the spread, uh, and then playoff time. It might be a different story, but I think the bills find a way to pull this one off. All right, we've got two more games and then we're going to get into a little nba before we get out of here and check out this, tyson paul fight. Uh, it's a little after eight, so looks like the coverage just started on netflix, so we're going to get you on over to that, although tyson paul probably won't fight for another couple hours, uh, so you can stay with us for a little bit longer here. All right? Next game we've got the Cincinnati Bengals Still my Bengals, I still believe in them Traveling to LA to play the Chargers.

Speaker 1:

The Chargers are one-and-a-half-point favorite. What, what in the world? This is the Sunday night game. Diego, who you got?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm going with the Bengals man. They're just desperate for a win. They lost that close one to the Ravens. They statistically have the best quarterback and receiver in the league. I just think they're going to continue to ball out and just try to get them to win here.

Speaker 1:

Okay and get on the winning track.

Speaker 3:

Listen that Bengals defense needs to make some plays. I think this is one of those games where you've got to make a stand If you're going to make a run to the playoffs. And do? I think that Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase are playing out of their minds right now? Yes, I think the Bengals win this one and it's going to be real close towards the end and hopefully the Chargers don't have the ball, because if they do, it might be wraps for the Bengals If they have the ball at the end.

Speaker 2:

Put Cam Taylor Britt on the best receiver every time. Yes.

Speaker 3:

Please.

Speaker 2:

I love him. He's my favorite. He's best corner in the league. Yes, he's my favorite, favorite corner.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, I love his game. Okay, yeah, man, I'm riding with the Bengals in this one. I'm going with the Bengals. Might be more wishful thinking. I am concerned because Harbaugh is a great coach, has a team playing fundamentally sound, they're playing so much better, not making silly mistakes, but I think the Bengals, they got to get this one, they got to get it. So I think the Bengals find a way to win this one. I'm going with the Bengals in this one. On Sunday night football. All right. Then the last one Monday night football. Monday night football. The last one. We've got a good old Texas showdown. Oh man, this one is in Big D, it's in Dallas. We've got CJ Stroud's Houston Texas travel to Dallas or Arlington to play the Dallas Cowboys, and we all know I speak fluent cowboy, so I am going to give it to you straight on this one. But, diego, why don't you kick us off, man, who you got in this? We?

Speaker 2:

got a CJ sold last week, sell it. Cj sold last week.

Speaker 3:

But I do think he'll get, he'll get a win this week, because the Cowboys Are just not looking great.

Speaker 2:

Really nothing else to say, texans.

Speaker 3:

We don't have to worry about the sun Blending the players in this one, but I definitely got the Texans in this one. I mean, cj, come on, dog. You and Mike have been gassing this up All season. Now is it the season that Mike Might have expected.

Speaker 3:

No, but listen, there's no way that y'all should lose to dallas. And I think this this might be. And nico collins is back. Listen, cj, turn up this game, dog like. This is the time where I need you to start proving you that number two, pick you that top five quarterback, because these past few weeks, bro, versus the jets, versus the lions, hey, bro, it ain't been looking great for you.

Speaker 3:

Man, I'm not gonna lie, I, I'm not taking the, because these past few weeks, bro, versus the Jets, versus the Lions, hey bro, it ain't been looking great for you. Man, I'm not going to lie, I'm not taking Diego's side, say that you fell all the way off, but it ain't been all sunshine and roses like last season, bro. So lock in, it's happening, lock in and get this win. This is an easy trap game.

Speaker 1:

Please just lock in and win. This is an easy trap game. Please just lock in and win. Okay, but he doesn't have an offensive line, he doesn't have time.

Speaker 3:

You weren't saying that earlier, yeah, I remember when that I remember last year, when we were saying that I know a bad O-line when I see it Trust me.

Speaker 1:

We know way too much.

Speaker 3:

We know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two.

Speaker 1:

Yes, we definitely have. Yeah, okay, figure two, because we've seen a figure two. Yes, definitely have, definitely have, yeah, okay, all right. Well, yeah, yeah, even though I speak fluent cowboy, uh, yeah, I got the texas in this one. I'm not, I'm not going with the cowboys in this one. Uh, I gotta get this pick right. And, uh, dallas is thrown in the towel. They are, uh, done. So, uh, texas, get this one, all right. Well, let's, uh, let's move on to nba. Man, we got nba before we get out of here, uh, nba news. So we got a lot of hot things going on, primarily with the west. So, diego man, you, a couple weeks ago, here on this very set, boldly told everybody that the golden state warriors are young, uh, just the right team for the regular season and are going to surprise people. And you said they would finish fifth, which we kind of laughed. Was it fifth you?

Speaker 2:

said Fifth in the West, fifth in the West.

Speaker 1:

But they're looking even better than that. So talk to us about the Warriors, man.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so the Warriors will not win the NBA championship. I'm just saying that right now. I said they are the perfect regular season team because they have a very deep bench, they go very deep in their rotations, everyone kind of plays well together, they play good defense and they're young on the bench too. Curry doesn't have to play many minutes. He's playing under 30 minutes. Right now, he's playing 29-30 minutes a game. That is amazing. I like that, kurt. And yes, we don't really need Curry to play Well. You just need him to play clutch, which is great.

Speaker 2:

And yeah, we're just looking really good. I really like how we're looking, y'all looking good, and I think I read Buddy healed Better than Clay, buddy's playing Better than Klay this season.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm not saying overall this season.

Speaker 2:

I'm saying right now, this season, not all time. I'm saying right now, this season, this season.

Speaker 1:

You can make arguments for that. So, and then one more thing before we go to you Chris Draymond Green. So, draymond, I think he's playing solid. He said I believe I saw him say that he was going to get 10 or less technicals this season. I believe he already has a couple.

Speaker 2:

I want to say I don't know exactly, but I might take the over on that. I might take the over on that.

Speaker 3:

I've played with the Timberwolves a couple times. Timberwolves the Grizzlies.

Speaker 2:

Timberwolves, grizzlies, kings, suns, lakers so many teams. I can see that.

Speaker 1:

That'll take that way up. Well, the West overall so I'm going to come to you with this, chris West overall is looking a little different, at least the first month of the season. Again, it's a long season, they play too many games, so so many of the games don't mean as much, um, but a lot of teams like the minnesota timberwolves are underachieving. Uh, you've got the dallas mavericks are not playing well, they're not looking well, um, and the lakers kind of back and forth started off hot, then had a little bit of losing streak, now playing well again. Why don't you talk to us about the lakers and then, if you want to touch on those other teams, go ahead?

Speaker 3:

all right to me, the lakers, as the resident lakers fan here and listen, I'm a brown fan before I'm late. Well, I'm a lakers fan before a brown feeling. Good night. I've been like saying let's start the retirement tour. Lebron's still playing well and anthony davis is looking like the number one option, so so I'm happy with how we look.

Speaker 3:

It's just our bench concerns me and the fact that we have so many injured players on said bench and D'Angelo Russell has games where he decides where he wants to be good or not. So that's the main issue I have with the team. Do I think that JJ has vastly improved it and we've been paying attention to details? Yes, that one and four skid was a little concerning. I like that we're getting back to the winning ways. I love how lebron's playing as a second option, but still choosing nights where you know he reminds people that he's to be the greatest basketball player of all time. So I think that overall, we are a very we're way better than we were last year. However, I think I'm still a little worried about bench play and kind of like who who else? We need to kind of help us out and get us truly over the hump to be contenders because I feel like in the nba the worst thing to be is in the middle, because you literally get benefit.

Speaker 3:

You literally like. It's like you get benefits if you take it. If you're a contender, at least you know, hey, we're a couple pieces away, or we know, you know exactly where you're at. We're in the middle. We're kind of like I don't know if we have pieces, I don't know if we can do that, and I feel like the lakers are kind of that like in the, the perfect example of like an in the middle team this season. I think I'm gonna touch on the maps specifically.

Speaker 3:

Okay, I think that luca has kind of had moments of either wanting to take over when kairi has been cooking, and then the last game he was ball watching and then john collins got the easy dunk right. So I think that lucas start to the season has been a little bit rough. After you know, the finals run and everybody was very high on Lucas. He carried this team. He's one of the best players, if not top five, in the league. To me, my one caveat is you being top five player in the league but you don't play defense is kind of crazy. I appreciate everything he does on offense and how great of a scorer he is, how great he is sometimes in getting his teammates involved, but when he decides to get his takeover mind and pull 30-footers when Kyrie's cooking, that's a little rich for me. So I definitely think that the Mavs are a bit disappointing because Luka's child selection at the end of games and his defense.

Speaker 1:

Okay, well, yeah, man, I definitely agree with everything that you said there. How far, diego, do you see the Warriors going?

Speaker 2:

I can see them. I don't see them going to the conference finals. I can see them winning a playoff series. Yeah, I can see them winning a playoff series, but not going to the conference finals. Second round, I think, is their ceiling, second round, okay.

Speaker 1:

You made some great points about the Lakers, but exactly how far do you see them going If?

Speaker 3:

we play up to our potential. I think at best conference finals at best. Okay, I think, if we truly, if again lebron has to have a turn the clock back performance of the playoffs, especially against some of these younger teams, and then just dilo playing well, austin know, because again we made the conference finals with a team when Anthony Davis was literally playing well, like every other game.

Speaker 3:

So, the fact that we can do that and we still have the same pieces around us. I think we can make the conference finals. But again, that's like if we are playing at our absolute best and I really feel like during the start of the season we've seen the ebbs and flows, so I don't know by that time if we're going to be playing our best basketball. But as a fan of LeBron, you know how this goes, especially during these later years. It's like we're going to make a push, we're going to trade a bunch of people make a push during the playoffs, make a little run, and we might lose in the conference finals to a much better team that has more chemistry and that's longer At best conference finals. But I wouldn't be surprised if we lost in the second round.

Speaker 1:

Alright, Well, yeah, good take. So yeah, the West is interested, and still early. We'll see how that plays out. Let's move on to the Cleveland Cavs. Diego are the Cavs for real.

Speaker 2:

The Cavs are the most for real regular season team, I think because of just Mitchell has the ability to explode in the regular season and playoffs. He plays great in the playoffs, but regular season he will explode, especially Darius. Shout out to Darius Garland, but regular season he will explode, especially Darius. Shout out to Darius Garland, the regular season warrior Always balls out in the regular season, but in the playoffs Darius Garland's going to be invisible and Mitchell's going to carry and all these other people that are playing good are just not going to be playing as well. I think they have a chance to go number two seed in the East but then lose early.

Speaker 1:

Maybe lose to the Heat. 13-0 Cavs Chris man.

Speaker 3:

I got big 2015 Hawks vibes on this team man I'm not going to lie Great team great role players and then they're going to run into the juggernaut and instead of LeBron, it's going to be the Boston Celtics because, quiet as it's kept, the Celtics have quietly been running the East since LeBron's left. Like Miami will often, you know, surprise the Celtics because the power of friendship and Jimmy Butler deciding to actually play basketball in the playoffs. But I do think that the Celtics are definitely they're going to be out for blood. I mean Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown regardless. They're going to keep pushing and keep trying to stack championships and be great.

Speaker 3:

And the Cavaliers listen, I don't trust it because I've seen how they've played in the playoffs these past few years with Donovan Mitchell and it's not that Donovan's not playing well. It's definitely because they're they. They're just other players just don't show up when Donovan's literally like playing his heart out. So I feel like that might just happen during whenever they play the Celtics or a quality team like the Knicks who have been struggling this year. But I do think they're going to get it together. So I definitely think the Cavs are. The Cavs look really good right now. Kenny Atkinson is might be coach of the year, but this might. It's like that 2015 Hawks that like Raptors team that won like almost 60 games and then they ran into the broad, and then it just fizzled out yeah, yeah, definitely reminds me, definitely reminds me of those teams.

Speaker 1:

I love how they're looking. I mean play, playing great. Clearly the playoffs will will tell, but I will say this though they are an injury away on the Celtics from going to the NBA finals. So again, not wishing injury or anything like that, but just saying things can happen. If a Tatum goes down because Porzingis. I don't know if we're ever going to see Porzingis again. I don't know what's going on with Porzingis, so I'm not even factoring Porzingis in the equation.

Speaker 3:

Shoot. Al Horford's still playing good minutes Right and Al.

Speaker 1:

Horford is playing great, but Al Holford is playing great. But again, those guys, the Celtics, they're the oldest, youngest team in the history of the NBA. They have Tatum and Brown, have been extremely durable and they are in great shape. So kudos to them for not luking the season. They come in ready to play. But if anything happens, there's a tweak ankle or anything, they're able to go Cleveland.

Speaker 1:

Hey, stranger things can happen. Hey, we, the Raptors, you know, squeeze the title in from from, from, you know one year. So yeah, they keep on balling, stacking wins. Just put themselves in position. You never know what can happen when you get in the tournament. But yeah, I would still have Boston for sure. But if something crazy happens they can definitely squeak by. So can't wait to see. But you know there's a lot of one last thing. We won't go too deep into this today, but it's interesting just with the NBA overall because, again, long season, a lot of the games don't mean as much. And the other thing that I'm noticing is that there's so many injuries, of course, but there's so much reliance still on the older players. You know, lebron is still. You know we tried to make Ant-Man the face of the league, but he wants to go out and say silly stuff all the time so it's kind of hard to really make him the face. So it's still like.

Speaker 2:

LeBron, I'm sorry man.

Speaker 3:

I had to have that conversation with LeBron. Hey, bro, you might just have to walk.

Speaker 2:

I mean, Jay, you have guys that are playing well enough to do it. You got Tatum, but I don't know yeah uh, wimby, guys like wimby, brunson and sga are all great players, and luca, but they just don't have like they don't have it. They don't have it like you know, the personality isn't.

Speaker 3:

Yes, right, I don't know what it is right it's crazy that lebron, steph and katie are still playing at the top of the league and they're literally at this point. They feel like legacy acts, like we're talking about the big three in rap, like J Cole Drake and like Right, right.

Speaker 3:

I feel like the big three in basketball, especially for my generation, has been LeBron, steph and KD, and they are the fact that they're still doing their thing and they still have their teams in contention. And then I feel like again, like referring back to like revenues like it feels like they're still on top of the younger guys who like you see coming up, they have great seasons, but they don't have that like star power, where it's like right across generations.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, yeah, yeah, it's probably gonna be. You know what now, when I think about it, that happened when Jordan played. There was never anybody that was marketable enough to really take over until Jordan left, and then there was a little bit of a void for a few years and then finally, I mean, you had AI and those guys kind of came on the scene, but still, while Jordan was there, it was like he was just so large no one else could really get it. So I think we're kind of still in that era. I think it won't be until Curry, lebron, kd, those guys leave, where this next generation will truly come in and take over, unless you know it's just as marketable as SGA takes over.

Speaker 3:

I feel bad for the NBA, because the NFL definitely doesn't have that problem. No, they don't have that problem at all it looks like every other year there's a young quarterback who pops up and is just like hey, I'm him.

Speaker 2:

Yes, always yeah that's definitely the case. Everybody has like in some ways. Everybody has it Like. The corners of course have the swagger. The receivers of course have the swagger. The receivers of course got all the jewelry and all that. You know quarterbacks, they're just the face, the franchise like defense is all gritty these receivers walking around millions of dollars on their. Don't let me get in the nfl oh man, let me say diego two keeps leave man let.

Speaker 3:

Let me tell you Diego, tanto keeps leading man, let's go.

Speaker 1:

Man, man, man, I was nowhere near the NFL when I was that age, man, if you could have seen the stuff I was wearing, man. So, yeah, I could only imagine if I actually had money. All right, man. Well, hey, great, great topics, great show. So I want to finish off here just with a couple of announcements and then we're going to get on and check out this fight. Can't wait to check this out.

Speaker 1:

But again, we've got a lot of hot swag coming out. We've had to make just a couple of little modifications as we're going through a process with all of our gear and whatnot and corporation and all that type of stuff. So, uh, we'll be rolling everything out here in just a matter of a few days, but we have a lot coming out for our members. So our members will have discounts on gear, um, exclusive rights to our raffles, all that kind of stuff. So you definitely want to check it out. Just to kind of tell you some of the raffles that we have coming out pick'em pros will have a box at the ncaa tournament, first and second round.

Speaker 1:

um for the lenovo at the lenovo center first and second round so, you know, one or two of our members may be able to get in and actually roll with us and hang in the box for first or second round of NCAA tournament. So that's the type of stuff that I'm talking about. I would definitely sign up and be a member. Yeah, that's the type of stuff I'm talking about. So we have a lot coming out. Two final things I want to mention. Our next show is going to be on Thanksgiving Day. So it's going to be Thanksgiving Day, 10 am. Eastern is our next show, so you don't want to miss that. We're going to get you started with your turkey ham duck, all that good stuff, as we have a fun day with family. Our man, christopher Davis, you've been with us for the last few months and you'll be back with us in December, so we can't wait, probably back here in studio, but for that particular show.

Speaker 1:

One of the things that we do with pick and pros is we highlight the next generation. Part of pick and pros is, yeah, we pick games and we're pros at that, but we also pick the pros people that are going to be in the pros. So we do that with um. You know, chronicling certain players that are high school athletes right now, but also people that are in the business side of things. So, chris, we believe in you, love what you're doing, but we have a special guest joining us on Thanksgiving. Her name is Brianna. You're going to hear a lot more about her, so she's going to join us for our entire show on Thanksgiving and then we'll have you back on, chris, in December, so just showing all the next generation of talent that we got so super excited about that. But lastly, chris man, we know you're about to roll out with generational debates. I just want you to give a plug for that and let people know when to expect that All right.

Speaker 3:

So y'all can follow generational debates on Instagram. It's Jenner8, the number 8, General Debates, and we're basically going to be talking the first episode. The South has always had something to say that's going to come out on Tuesday. I'm recording it on Monday. I definitely want to show love to my favorite rap scene, the South, and then kind of highlight the sports news of the weekend and, yeah, I definitely think that y'all should tap in with this show. It's, it's my baby. I definitely want to bridge the gap between older, younger sports fans, older, younger music fans, and you don't want to miss this first episode of generational debates. So definitely like, support, follow me on instagram. Um, we could probably do a reel and then I'll like. But yeah, I'm definitely definitely excited about this show and I can't wait. I'm ready. This is, this is gonna be a great show. I'm gonna have great guests, young people in it and making music, young people it's for journalism some producers, some artists. I definitely want to.

Speaker 1:

I definitely start pushing this good, proud of you, man, proud of you, yeah, yeah, happy to have you all here and allow you to uh, you know, showcase what you, what you got coming out. So we love that. And, last but not least, someone else that is a big part of our pick and pro family that we're very proud of they want to plug is mr tavaris jordan. Yes, sir tavaris jordan is a big part of our Pick'em.

Speaker 1:

Pro family that we're very proud of we want to plug is Mr Tavares Jordan. Tavares Jordan is a producer extraordinaire out of Fayetteville, North Carolina. He's done many beats for Pick'em Pros and the music that you're going to hear as we go out here in a second is done by Tavares Jordan. That's his instrumental, but he's great. Just had a huge hit with Summer Walker right now. Heart of a Woman is out right now, so you definitely want to check that out. Tavares Jordan produced that, so that's a smash hit. I keep playing it over and over again. So so proud of him. And he actually just sent me a text message. He's working on a song. He's got a rapper who is working on a Pick'em Pro song, so that's going to be the new intro coming out Done by Tavares Jordan and the rapper. We're going to have a new intro by him. So a lot of hot fire stuff coming out, so I can't wait. So thank y'all for the love and support. Chris, proud of you, man, Great job.

Speaker 3:

All right, all right, all right.

Speaker 1:
