All right, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back. You know who it is, I am Derek Thompson.
Speaker 2:And I'm Diego Thompson.
Speaker 3:I'm Christopher Davis. And who are we?
Speaker 2:We're the Pick'em.
Speaker 1:Pros. We are the Pick'em Pros coming back at you in the house with a special episode of who. You Got Father-Son Dynamic Duo and we've got our man, chris Davis. What's going on, chris?
Speaker 3:Not much. Not much Just, you know, excited after last week's win. We all didn't pick the Panthers, but surprisingly we saw the resurgence of Andy Dalton, so that was something special. Man, last week was a fun time as a Panthers fan.
Speaker 1:That's right. That's right, yeah, so is that the secret sauce?
Speaker 3:Do we just have to not pick him? I guess so that might be it. It's almost ridiculous. Devontae Adams would go crazy if he only had 50-something yards.
Speaker 2:JC Hoyt put up.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:That was great. We're going to definitely dive into that. Definitely hyped about that. We talked about Bryce, talked about Andy Dalton. See the difference? Hey, they looked a lot different. So we'll definitely dive into that and we're going to go down there and check them out in person. We have to do our due diligence. So, since we're officially in the media and we're talking about the Panthers, we can't just talk about it. We got to go down there and see them up close and personal. So we're going to take a trip and get down there early and check them out. So, really excited for that, all right.
Speaker 1:Well, hey, also, we've got a big, big show next week. We'll be back at King. So our show will be 7 PM, like it typically is, but we'll be in person. So come and check us out, holler, at your boys at Kings. We've got some fire special guests and we're starting a new segment where we're featuring a high school athlete at the end of every show. So we're really excited about that.
Speaker 1:Let me go ahead and just pull this up real quick. So, again, we've got Olivia, local golf phenom. Can't wait to have her. She's going to kick off our local high school athlete. So again, high school athletes, step your game up so you can get on here. Desmond Clark will be joining us. You all know who Des is. He'll join us virtually. And then we've got Kenny Collins. He is the coach of the Clayton High School basketball team. They are loaded. If you don't know now, you know they are loaded and they are poised to win state. So we cannot wait to talk to him. He is jumping up to head coach this year and he'll tell us about all the great things that are going to happen this year. And we also have some special guests, rome and Jamie, to talk about flag football. So we have a whole lot. Chris will be with us, of course a whole lot going on, so it's going to be a fire show, all right.
Speaker 1:Well, hey, today we're going to talk about the Cowboys. We're going to talk about the game we're going to talk about. Are the Cowboys going to make the playoffs? I'm hearing a lot of people say no, we're going to talk about the Bears. Oh no, did they make the wrong decision again? We're going to talk about that. We're going to talk about the Steelers. My gosh, everyone was talking about the Bengals. Everyone was talking about the Ravens Browns and their defense and Deshaun Watson in here. Look at the Steelers they're the ones that are 3-0. Are they the best in the AFC North? We'll talk about that. We'll pick all the games, as we always do. And then, hey, we've got breaking news in basketball, so we got to pivot at the end.
Speaker 1:We've got to talk about the big trade that happened with the uh nicks and timberwolves. We got to talk about that wnba is going into their semi-finals. We got to hit that before we roll as well. So tons of tons of stuff to get into, uh, for sure. So we got a fire show and we do have to again.
Speaker 1:We got to try to do all this within a little over an hour. We got to be off here by 815. So we're going to run, we're going to run through it. We're going to run through now, kings, we're probably going to be about two hours, so I'm just going to tell you right now. But we're going to have peace, we're going to feed you, so come out, we'll feed you, and yeah're not going to rush that one, so we're going to have that one. Uh, just come and get get comfortable, get a seat and get early. All right, so let's dive into it. Let's get into our first topic here um, the dallas cowboys. So, man, they squeaked by 120 to 15 on the road, went to met life and um got the win. Diego, you called this correctly. You and des called this one correctly. Yeah, um. So tell us about this. Uh game, diego, what was your take on it?
Speaker 2:so, um, cowboys, they squeaked by. Uh, giants, malik neighbors court. He didn't play it really well. He had a good game. Um was cooking Trayvon Diggs and all the other corners that were trying to guard him. But uh, cowboys, they, they squeaked by with the win, dallas, they. It's been like 13 straight times they beat the Giants, but it is worrying that it was that close of a game. So yeah, I come a little worried about the Cowboys, but I'm impressed by Malik Nabors and the Giants a little bit.
Speaker 1:I think they should definitely be worried. What do you think, Chris?
Speaker 3:So my thing with the Cowboys is I don't know what kind of team they are, you know, because they lose to a very good well, they lose to a very good baltimore team, and then they beat up on cleveland and you know they look like world beaters versus other teams. It's very weird, you know, and dallas has this thing of I don't want to say it's front running, but to me it's like they always will put themselves in like these positions where everybody's like oh, you should win, you should do this, and they always fall apart.
Speaker 3:So yeah no shade to them, but, like I'm looking at the season coming up, they play the Steelers, the, the Lions, the Niners, the Falcons, the Eagles, the Titans and the Rangers team. So this stretch run is like, oh okay, like they're already in, like a late season stretch run starting next week. So I don't know what this team is yet and, with the injuries to Michael Parsons and I believe DeMarcus Lawrence is injured as well, it's a bit concerning for how this season could turn out. So I don't, I don't know yeah, I'm with you.
Speaker 1:I believe that, um, he's got a high, high ankle sprain, parsons has a high ankle sprain, which is not good at all. So, uh, they, they definitely, in my opinion, are in. You know, in terms of making the playoffs, I don't see it. You know, when you look at the NFC, you've got, you know, detroit, you've got Green Bay, you've got Minnesota. Now You've got man, you've got the Saints, the Falcons Okay, now, I don't know about that. We'll see what happens tomorrow. Is the Red Fireball going to be?
Speaker 2:a problem like that?
Speaker 1:I don't know. But yeah, I mean, you've got a lot to do. The Eagles, I mean I think we all probably agree that the Eagles are going to win the division. So you know, it's going to be a tall task. They've dropped some games that well that that same game is really going to hurt them, but that that's going to be very difficult to recover from that. So thank you to the Lords for your comment as well. Think they'll make the playoffs but won't go anywhere. Yeah, yeah, if they happen to get in, which I predicted them, to squeak in and then get bounced early. But right now, I don't know, it's not looking to you. What do you think, diego? Are they going to make the playoffs?
Speaker 2:I think they'll make the playoffs. They always, always. Not really because they're a great team, it's because, really, you know, I think they'll be able to turn on the gas a little later in the season, because that's what they always, always find a way to squeak into the playoffs, give everyone high hopes and then fall late in the season. I think, though, in those games that Chris mentioned, I think they'll be able to pull some of those off and give the fans some confidence and then blow it in the playoffs.
Speaker 1:Now you make a great point. I'm going to kick it to you, chris, for the final word on this. You make a great point because I'm going to kick it to you, chris, for the final word on this. You make a great point because I've seen Jerry do this again. I remember when he brought in Amari Cooper that was a mid-season move, if I remember they were kind of flailing and Dak was struggling up to that point and once they brought Amari in, dak really kind of went to another level. So I wouldn't put that past them, and especially the way they're struggling right now. I wouldn't be surprised if they made a move. Now, if they make a move and they can bring somebody in, get a top receiver, bring in a back, then I say, ok, they've got a shot. But as the way the roster is currently constructed, I don't see them making it. But, chris, what's your take?
Speaker 3:But, chris, what's your take? I just feel like this run really concerns me because the Lions, the Niners, the Falcons I believe they can win, but the Eagles and the Texans they're very good teams, and Dallas I don't know if they'll get beat up even more. We still haven't seen somebody outside of CD really turn up this season. So they do need another acquisition and their defense is weird, like their defense has really. They played well against when they played very bad quarterbacks, like that's literally the story of their season, what they have to play.
Speaker 3:Derek Carr, regardless of how you feel about him, has been playing top-tier quarterback this season. When they played Derek Carr and Lamar, it looked like the sky was falling. So I don't know, regardless of how you feel about him, has been playing top tier quarterback this season. When they played derrick carl lamar, it looked like the world, the sky was falling. So I don't know. I just it concerns me with the amount of great quarterbacks they're gonna have to play in the trend of, like their defense only rising to the occasion versus very mediocre quarterbacks okay, okay, yeah, that that that's a.
Speaker 1:That's's an interesting take. And, professor, the professor my dad, who's been a recurring guest on the show, who is in Dallas right now, might be a little biased, but he says that the professor says the Cowboys will be in the playoffs Explanation point, explanation point. So if he says it, you might be able to book it. We'll see about that. And comment on IG uh, matthew solar said can we get some college football talk? And and my canes baby. So a shout out to you, matthew. Uh, uh, let me say you, saucer, thank you for checking us out. First of all, um, and yeah, we can definitely get some college. And then the canes, we're going to talk about that. Well, that'll probably be another show.
Speaker 1:So we're spinning up multiple, multiple playlists and so it's hard to merge in the same show hockey, basketball, football because some fan bases don't really follow the others, so we'll lose them. But we're spinning up new shows as we go. So hang with us and we'll definitely. We've got to cover Canes, because that's the hometown team, so we got you covered. We've just got to spin that up. So hang with us. All right, cool, and Brandon, we'll see you backstage. My man, we're going to talk some hoops with you at the end. So, thanks for being early and, summer, thank you for handling everything in the back. We know you got us covered, all right, so let's uh, oh, before we go, let's rank our nfc east. Uh, why don't you let let's flip it this time, chris, you want to start us, man all right, starting off, I got the eagles one.
Speaker 3:Um, really, the atlanta game they should have won. They should easily be like three and oh, but I believe that they turned a corner versus the saints. It was a gritty win. Now the injuries that they have to their top two receivers very concerning. A lane johnson potentially being hurt is something that I'm a little bit worried about. But knowing them, I believe they'll trudge through and they're, to me, the best team right now.
Speaker 3:Okay, second, I'm not gonna lie, the way jane dangles has played. I actually have the commanders number two now. Their defense scares the mess out of me because it's like their D line can make some plays, their linebackers can make some plays, but, lord, that's secondary it is. It was stressful watching that game because you're like okay, whoever has the ball last is gonna win the game, obviously. But I don't know the way jayden has like revitalized that team and given them a spark and some hope. The way they've been playing on offense is clicking on all cylinders. They didn't score in the red zone the week before and then all of a sudden they're getting all these touchdowns. You see jayden just pushing the ball downfield and being more confident in himself So-called college offense.
Speaker 1:He's showing out.
Speaker 3:We all side-eyed but, yeah, he was great. I have the Cowboys. I have them weirdly as like a 2B because I'm like I don't know what team they are yet. I really think that the way that if they play up to their potential, they're obviously the best team because of the amount of talent that they have on their team. So you know. And then the Giants you know You're at the bottom.
Speaker 3:They're at the bottom, it sucks because they have a great defense, a star receiver it's just man. It's a great story. It's a great story.
Speaker 1:Yes, you see Malik and he's having to like run to, like catch up to the ball.
Speaker 3:It is like, yeah, he is man malik is trying his best man, but you know we got daniel drones throwing to you it's.
Speaker 1:You're probably going to be fourth in your division, so okay, yeah, and shout out to dc and our david cook and our Pick'em Pros Fantasy Football League. I got neighbors from him. So that was a great, great trade on my part on that one Kicking some butt man. Spank Josh this past week, spank Desmond Clark two weeks ago. So yeah, man, I'm just, I'm just spanking these guys.
Speaker 2:Another fantasy league that we were in where I beat you by like 70 nah, nah, I don't really need to talk about that I don't know about that one, that that that is not a sanction, that's not a sanction league.
Speaker 1:So we only talk about official fantasy leagues. That's just a play around. The pick and pros league is the official league. Look at that. I don't know about that, not too great got that one. That's my kick around me. You know that. That's where I kick around that's like, that's like in in the it world. You have a sandbox. You know sandbox. We can't tell that that's my sandbox. You know, I'm saying that's how that, that's how that works, all right.
Speaker 2:So uh is duke being carolina right now, are they?
Speaker 1:okay, all right. Okay, we got du. Is Duke beating Carolina right now? Are they? Okay? All right? Okay, we got Duke Carolina going on right now. We got the college going on. Colorado is giving a beat down on UCF, so we might touch on some of that a little later. Shout out to B Timmy 10. Say, what's up, guys? What's up, my man, thanks for joining us All right. Oh, what's up, guys, what's up, my man? Thanks for joining us all right. Um, oh, diego, so do you agree? Because I think we all have. And then brandon in the background, we all have eagles one, um, I think, commanders, or did brandon, where he had commanders too? Right? Yeah, commanders, uh two, uh, cowboys three and giants four. Is that basically what you have, die Diego, or do you have?
Speaker 2:it different. I have. I'm switching the Cowboys and the Commanders. I still have the Cowboys second-best team.
Speaker 1:Okay, the.
Speaker 2:Commanders. They were so bad last year, Like they were awful last year, and I just don't know, after like one big win, how I can put them that high up, Like they're still one and two.
Speaker 1:Like they're still one and two, like okay, there's still one and two. Sounds like the panthers and whatever we're not talking about the panthers
Speaker 2:I'm still still one and two, so I one big win.
Speaker 1:I can't okay, I can't, you know okay, after one big win, can't do that just yet. Okay, I got you. I feel you all right. Well, we're gonna move on. What up, ideana? We see you. What up, though, out of detroit hitting us up on instagram. Much love, all right. Well, hey, we're gonna get into the bears.
Speaker 1:Uh, don't know if uncle duane, the biggest chicago bear homer in the world, is watching this, but uh, duane, if you're watching any bears fans watching, you might want to close your eyes on this one. Uh, man, let me pull up the title slide here. Uh, the topic on here is oh no, did the bears get it wrong again? Did the bears get it wrong again, man? I mean, we all know about, uh, you know taking uh, mitchell trubisky told you about them. Unc quarterbacks uh, taking mitchell trubisky over um patrick mahomes, um, you know, we know about taking Justin Fields, we know about all of that. And here, seeing Jaden Daniels ball out on Monday Night Football, man, starting to wonder did the Bears mess up yet again at the quarterback position? Diego, why don't you kick us off?
Speaker 2:No, I mean the Bears, they didn't mess up. Caleb's still a great quarterback. He just needs. You know, he's put some pretty good games together but, just like you know, his consistency and a little bit of turnover issues have got him. But I still think that he's going to be a great quarterback. And you know, I think it's's something with the bears I don't know what it is. It's just like all the quarterbacks together, the bears, they just don't turn out great.
Speaker 2:So maybe it's dewayne if caleb doesn't turn out great, then it's the bears fault, because like, that's just how it is so if jay and daniels went to the bears, he would be playing bad you're playing too, it's just how it is. I'm sorry.
Speaker 1:It's just the Bears. It's just the Bears. Okay, what would you say, chris?
Speaker 3:I mean. To me this is eerily similar to the situation that we've had with Caroline in Houston, where there's a defensive head coach, there's an offensive coordinator that really values how to help a quarterback play quarterback successfully in this league. Regardless of how you feel about Cliff Kingsbury as like a head coach, as an offensive coordinator, he is doing his thing. So, that's my whole thing is. Again, this might be a situation where we overrated one situation underrated another.
Speaker 3:And that's my feeling on this. It doesn't mean that Caleb's not good, because Caleb has performed as best as he could, but he doesn't have the offensive line around him. Yet again and again he has some coaching decisions. He has, you know, he has Eberflues and he has Shane Walter as his offensive line who's? Not really helping him out.
Speaker 2:So it's like.
Speaker 3:What do we like? We have these quarterbacks that we label generational, and I get it. Caleb Williams was supposed to be the next Patrick Mahomes and we gave him three really good wide receivers, even though one of them is injured right now. So there's a lot going on stopping him from being what we know he can be. Because we saw that throw in the preseason, all of us were like, oh my goodness, he's here, we're back.
Speaker 3:The Bears are the best quarterbacks since 85. Like everybody was so happy. And then you see what Jaden can do with a team. And again, I still think that Washington's offensive line is spotty sometimes. So I don't even think it's comparable to the Houston situation with the offensive line sometimes. So I'm not even, I don't even think it's like comparable to the houston situation with the offensive line.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I think they're a really really good, washington's a really good place, because it thought about hey, we have everything we need, we just need the guy. And they got their guy. So we'll see how it goes with their careers. But I don't know. I think caleb still has a lot to prove. So I'm just I'm holding out hope for it okay, that's got one more thing to say, yeah well, well, well, listen, the bears go and get all these great receivers.
Speaker 2:Everyone's like whoa, they got these good receivers, they're gonna make the playoffs, they're gonna have a big run, but really it's. It's the nitty gritty that count, it's the o-line and the d-line. That it's the o-line. They don't have a great o-line, so caleb's not as successful the first few weeks as people thought he would be.
Speaker 3:They need we're no rookie quarterbacks need good o-line to be successful everything is like their defense is actually playing their butts off, like there's no, like it's nothing like the Bears can do. It's like the decisions that they're making, on the offensive side of the ball as well, is killing this team, because the reason why they won the first game of the season is because defense's special team showed up Like it wasn't because Caleb played well. I guess Houston Defense helped shut down a very potent Houston Texans offense. We didn't, the offense didn't perform. This week. You have the Colts. They're down one of their best defensive linemen.
Speaker 3:We can probably do some damage with that. Still, the offensive side of the football is not producing.
Speaker 1:I don't think it's Caleb.
Speaker 3:I think it's the O-line of the coaching decision. So we'll see.
Speaker 1:Okay, now I did hear because this is like you said, this is eerily similar to conversation last week and right here in good old Carolina what's wrong with? What's wrong with bright? Oh, it's not bright, it's the offensive line, it's the defense. It's the offensive line, it's the defense, it's the owner, it's everything, it's the stadium, it's all that. And then Dalton came in the red rifle, lit it up and I didn't see anything on the news about temper selling the team. I think they still had the same owner.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I believe they still had the same offensive line. Uh, I believe they have. I think, everything. I think they only made one change. I believe so.
Speaker 1:So I, you know, I wonder, I wonder if it is quite. I mean, yes, can the o-line improve a little bit? Chicago, sure it can, but I mean, it come coming into this season, all we talked about was how loaded they were and how, you know, I mean, heck, nick wright picked him to go to the super bowl. You know so, you know now, all of a sudden, that he's struggling. Now there's all these things. That's wrong. So you know, time, time will tell. Um, I, I do think that the fit has a lot to do with it. So I agree with you, chris, you've got a defensive coach. Now this is the bear cycle, because I do speak Chicago as well. I was born in Chicago, so I do speak Chicago as well.
Speaker 1:Every four years there's a change. It's in two-year intervals. So every two years, either the coach or the quarterback gets fired, all right, and they, they rotate, they rotate where the passion goes. So now, because again, it's too early to get mad at caleb, so now it's all going to be the coach, so he's going to be gone. Then in two years it's going to be caleb oh, he was a bus then next two years is going to be the coach. Then it's going to be whoever the next quarterback that they draft, then it's going to be the current. They'll just rotate every two years. That going to be the coach. Then it's going to be whoever the next quarterback that they draft, then it's going to be the coach and they'll just rotate every two years. That is a cycle. Go back and check it out. That's the cycle in Chicago when it comes to that. But I think it's a lot of fit.
Speaker 1:Jaden Daniels look, he again reminds me a lot of CJ last year. There's a lot of parallels. He has not thrown a pick yet. Okay, just like CJ didn't throw a pick until later in the season, caleb has thrown four at least. Caleb's been sacked 13 times. Jaden's been sacked nine times.
Speaker 1:And the other thing that stands out to me I was expecting to see, especially with his style of play, I was expecting to see a huge amount of rushing yards from Jaden. It's not that much. He's throwing that ball. So I was really surprised by that. And he's also with all of that, and I wouldn't have thought this. He's thrown for more yards. He's thrown for six 64 and Caleb's thrown for six 30.
Speaker 1:So, um, I think some of that is is talent. Um, a lot of that is coaching. Uh and um, they definitely are going to have to, I think. I think the biggest issue is the, the coaching, and if they can bring in the coach, can bring the right scheme in for caleb. He's got to get rid of the ball. It's not all the offensive line. He was known for holding on to the ball too long in college and he's doing the same thing. He's got to get rid of the ball at least a second soon.
Speaker 1:So, any any last words from you guys on this one? I know I rambled a little bit on that one. We good, we good, alright, cool, cool. Hit us with your comments. Let us know. Did the Bears get this one wrong or are they just fine? Do we just need to give it time? Do we need to fire a few people and everything's going to be fine? Caleb's still going to go in the Hall of Fame. Let us know. We want to get your take on this All right. So let's move on. All right for you Steeler fans. Hey, steelers are tearing it up. They are 3-0. Hey, we all talked about the Ravens, we talked about the Bengals, but look at here. Les Diego said well, well, well, steelers are the ones sitting at 3-0. Is that just schedule? Is that you know? Are there other factors that are the reason for that? Let us know, diego. Are the Steelers the best team in the AFC?
Speaker 2:So I think current well, AFC North.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, afc North, afc North, thank you. Afc North, not AFC AFC North, afc North, thank you AFC North, not AFC AFC North.
Speaker 2:Currently the Steelers are the best team in the AFC North. I mean with the body of work. The Ravens struggled. They lost at home to the Raiders, which is a very bad loss, and the Bengals are 0-3. They're just not looking good. Browns are 1-2, coming off a loss of giants at home, and the steelers are sitting here. They want every game, uh, defense and play good, even justin fields and playing okay. So I mean, yeah, I think the steelers two is I've been doing a good job and steers the best team in the afc north right now okay well, they're playing what I call typical sealer football.
Speaker 3:You know it's ball control. They're gonna play defense. They're like just the fields. Don't mess this up for us, just don't. Just. We're gonna keep it simple.
Speaker 3:You have like the opportunity to make three or four big plays, then we're gonna win this game because our defense is gonna shut people down so I believe that's the way they've been playing is really good and I hate to bring up the schedule again, but their division like starting November 17th, they play all their division opponents plus the Eagles and the Chiefs, so we will definitely see what type of they are towards the end of the season, because all those teams who are still going to be tough outs, plus arguably the best team in the AFC and one of the best teams in the NFC to end the season. We're going to definitely see if this 3-0 record is, if it was fool's gold early in the season or if they really got something. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what makes me nervous. It's like they look good and it looks like they can stack these wins, but towards that that's a tough.
Speaker 1:That is. Yeah, you're absolutely right, chris. That is a tough schedule. I think a lot of it has to do with the schedule. Tomlin's doing a great job coaching. If you play defense in the NFL and don't turn the ball over, you're going to be in pretty much every game and have a great chance to win. More games are lost than they are won in the NFL, as we see. So they're doing a great job with that and Justin Fields is doing a great job 73% completing percentage. He's doing a strong job managing the team. Yeah, it's tough.
Speaker 1:As far as best in the AFC North, I would have to say I would still have to give it to the Ravens, although I'm discouraged by the performance against the Cowboys and just how they've looked. It's like they came out the best against the Chiefs and it's like they haven't recovered from losing to them yet again. You know there's the I guess you've got the championship game hangover, so to speak. But then they faced them that first game and you had Lamar Jackson dipping his shoulder and, you know, playing dangerously. They got through that game healthy, fortunately, but again they lost there at the end in heartbreaking fashion and I feel like they haven't gotten over that. So I feel that they will get their second win win and then be able to push through. I don't think they're going to be both Buffalo this this Sunday night. I think they're going to lose that one, but I do feel that they are the, the, the class of the, the afc north yeah, yeah so yeah one thing that's interesting is justin feels.
Speaker 2:Now he's the qb2 on the depth chart, so is he? Really yeah, that's, that's new, so I don't know the way justin's been playing wrestling.
Speaker 3:Yeah, you got it, you got it.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I think they should keep Fields in. Yeah, they definitely need to keep Fields, definitely need to keep Fields. Let us know. In the comments y'all should first of all tell us hey, are the Steelers the best in the AFC North? So yeah, we're missing a word there. That's on me Are they the best in the AFC North? And me, are they the best in the NFC North, afc North? And hey, let us know, should Fields keep the starting position or should they give your boy, russ, a chance so they let him cook? Come in and cook for him, cook a little something up.
Speaker 2:No.
Speaker 1:No, okay, we got some no's here.
Speaker 2:Stay on the sidelines, hey.
Speaker 1:Brandon? Brandon, let us know, man, should they let Russ cook Is is? Is that the missing ingredient to take over the Ravens? Or let us know, brandon, we know you're going to keep it. You're going to keep it real with us, okay, all right. So, uh, hey, man, let's get to our no brainer. So we've got to get to our week four picks. Really excited about this man. And hey again, next week we're going to be at Kings, so we got some special guests there. We'll keep plugging that throughout the show, but we're really excited about that. So fields is a start until he's not. Okay, brandon, yeah, we, we thought that would be your take, just wanted to make sure. Definitely wanted to get your take. Can't wait for you to join us in a little bit, but we're about to make our week four picks. Man, we disagree on probably more games than we ever have. So Desmond Clark has sent his picks in Again. Diego won week three. So Diego's won two weeks in a row and he's so confident and cocky. Okay, who is that? What's the beat here?
Speaker 3:Sorry, that's me Okay.
Speaker 1:Diego is so confident and cocky that two things One, he didn't even bring the chain to the show this week. So I guess, okay, we're not rocking the chain that Deanna made, I can get the chain. Okay, I'll go ahead and get the chain. Be quick, man, because we live man, All right. So he's going to get the chain. And he also is on an island for six games. So that's a record. So we disagreed on 10 games this week. So we're going to dive into all these, but first we're going to go into our no-brainers. We only agree on six games. So let me go ahead and bring that slide up here and dive into the six games that we agree on, and then we'll go into the nine, because we already had the Dallas Giant game that we disagreed on. All right. So, Diego, go ahead and kick us off with our no-brainers.
Speaker 2:All right, no-brainers, we got the New Orleans Saints going to Atlanta to play the Falcons. Y'all got the Saints in this one, we're all picking the underdog.
Speaker 1:We're all picking the underdog.
Speaker 2:So, yeah, I have the Saints to win. They bounce back from a loss to the Eagles, go to Atlanta and I think Atlanta's a little overrated this year actually so I think New Orleans can go in there and get a win.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 3:What do you think? Chris, A little concerned with New Orleans' injuries, but I do believe they still have the better team overall. I got New Orleans in this one.
Speaker 1:Okay, you got New Orleans in this one. Now I wonder, are we all just trying to save face because we said they were for real last week?
Speaker 3:Not really. The Eagles played a special game First. That was first off. Their starting center went out, so that was another issue and they really couldn't run the ball like they wanted to and the Eagles have a really good front. But yeah, that was actually a really good game, like good old defensive game, offensive fireworks towards the end, but that was I don't know. I don't think. I think it's that whole thing where it's like you know the Cressler 300 and Phantom thing, like you think it's a Cressler 300, until you see the Phantom pull up the Eagles, in this case obviously the Phantom, and you know they show that they're still the class of the NFC, all right, all right.
Speaker 1:So let's go to our next one. No brainer.
Speaker 2:Take it away, diego, all right. Next, no brainer. Next no-brainer the Jacksonville Jaguars traveling to Houston to play the Texans. We all have the Texans in this one. All the Jaguars that you said were going to have a good year go to 0-4.
Speaker 1:Why are you bringing up old stuff?
Speaker 2:man, why are you bringing up old stuff? 0-4. We all got the Texans, though. They're just the better team and they're at home, and they lost last week week to Minnesota and you know Diggs is going to be mad about that and they're going to try to get another win on the board.
Speaker 1:Definitely, definitely. Yeah, anything on this, Chris? Probably not much on this one. No, Houston's got it.
Speaker 3:Jackson has been struggling. You know Houston's. The thing that's concerned me is how they start out a little slow offensively. The Vikings game was a little bit alarming, but I don't believe that the Jags have the horses to keep up with the Texans. So we got the Texans in this one.
Speaker 1:All right, got the Texans. What's next?
Speaker 2:Next game is the Denver Broncos going to New York to play the Jets and we all have the Jets in this one, the Jets Denver coming off a long road trip coming from the West Coast. Jets had a long week because they played on Thursday night last week so they got some rest Aaron Rodgers, a rest at Achilles and have a good game, good game. So I think Jets got it Okay.
Speaker 1:All right, yeah, yeah, you agree, chris. Yep got the Jets it. Okay, all right, yeah, yeah, you agree, chris.
Speaker 3:Yep Got the Jets in this one.
Speaker 1:All right, we got the Jets. What's the next one?
Speaker 2:Next game is the. Patriots going to San Fran to play the Niners and we all have the Niners in this one Still banged up. Looks like they'll probably get Kittle back.
Speaker 1:They might still be without debo, debo and mccaffrey, but got still got the niners. Yeah, this is pretty funny. With all of, with all those injuries, they're a 10 point favorite. That is a lot in the nfl, that's.
Speaker 3:That's pretty funny I mean jordan mason and juwan jennings have like filled in the roles, so that's definitely helped out. So I got san francisco in this one okay, all right.
Speaker 1:What's the? What's the next one?
Speaker 2:next one is the tight tennessee titans going to miami to play the dolphins. Y'all got miami, um, they coming off a few losses, uh, recently, but uh, tennessee is arguably the worst team in football. So, and the dolphins being at home, uh, I want to get a win on the board.
Speaker 1:Try to keep their playoff chances alive yeah, now with with this one, I mean uh well, did you agree with that, chris? I mean, it's only a one point spread in this.
Speaker 3:I mean dolphins tyler humley has played enough. Good has done enough. I believe in the n the NFL to show me something. Plus he has Tyreek and Waddle Tennessee. They don't have that. And of course Will Levis is a concern because he's a turnover waiting to happen. So obviously got Miami in this one Now.
Speaker 1:Speaking of, so we know Des Desmond Clark. He lost to Diego again so he's missing. But we also need to put an APB out for Tyreek. Has anybody seen Tyreek? But we also need to put an APB out for Tyreek. Has anybody seen Tyreek? Did he end up getting arrested by the cop a couple weeks ago and we just don't know it? I have not seen Tyreek, has he?
Speaker 3:he hasn't had to he hasn't had anybody thrown to him, you just had him get in the tart like Stella Thompson.
Speaker 2:it's on Michael Daniel to scheme it up and help him out. Anybody throwing to him?
Speaker 3:Okay, you just had him getting the tart like. If you know him Like. Again, it's on Mike McDaniel to scheme it up and help him out. Okay, yeah.
Speaker 2:Yeah, great coaching McDaniel.
Speaker 1:The best receiver in the league isn't getting the ball.
Speaker 2:Well, hey this. What's that about?
Speaker 1:This, this Because again I've seen this story before A very weak Tennessee Titan team goes into Miami. This is a primetime game too. They've got prize. It's Monday night. It's a Monday night football game. I think they're doing the two Monday night games again, and yeah, so again they get a check as well. They're going to come in, and I tell you what they better get the ball to Tyreek. They better scheme something up and get him the ball, because if we can't find him this week, they're going to take a L. There's a reason why they're only a one-point favorite at home on Monday night. We're going to see about that. Yeah, we're going to see about that. Oh man, all right, shout out about that. Oh man, all right, shout out to again everybody's. I see a lot of folks. Uh, we see uh again. Live, you're gonna be joining us. Uh, our golf phenom, we see you. We see gridiron gang football. We see mike. Uh, we see everybody. We see you. All right, let's uh go. We've got another. We got one more no-brainer last one more.
Speaker 2:Uh, seattle seahawk. Is this another doublehead? Doubleheader? Yeah, another doubleheader. Monday night week. So, uh, seattle seahawks. Wait, is this another doubleheader? Monday night yeah, another doubleheader. Monday night week. So, seattle Seahawks going to Detroit to play the Lions. We got Detroit in this one Seattle. They've been on a hot streak. So I think all that comes to an end this week. Please, detroit, because Detroit's the real deal, and they're going to try to get a win at home. Primetime yeah, real deal, and they're going to try to get a win at home primetime.
Speaker 2:Yeah, seattle, and hey, you picked against seattle all three, all three weeks, all three weeks lost.
Speaker 1:And you said detroit. Yes, seattle's gotten on my freaking nerves. I hope detroit beats them by 50, but uh, chris, what's your take on this one man?
Speaker 3:I got detroit, they're gonna. I believe this is the first real team seattle's played so detroit definitely will show out on Monday night.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think you're just saying that because you lost all, because you're still mad.
Speaker 3:I'm just talking ball right now. This is the best team that Seattle has played on.
Speaker 2:It definitely is buddy. I think there's.
Speaker 1:Yeah, this is personal. Do it for me, detroit. Come on, come on, do it for me. Yeah, all yeah, this is personal. Do it for me, detroit. Come on, come on, do it. Do it for me. Yeah, all right. So All right. So let's get into man. We disagree. We got nine island games to dive into. This is going to settle the chain. It's about time. So, yeah, I've been slipping. So, yeah, I've been reckless. I've been making some awful picks, so pick wise again. I'm spreading a lot of different directions. All right, I'm hosting the show, you know I'm, you know, killing it and picking pro fantasy. I'm doing all these things. So it's hard to, you know, be amazing at everything. So my pick so far, these first four weeks have taken a hit, I admit it, but there's time to recover and I will recover. It's OK. It's OK to be off. It's time to recover and I will recover, it's okay. It's okay to be off, it's okay.
Speaker 2:When you're going against a picker like me, it's just hard to keep up.
Speaker 1:At least you're beating Dez, so he's missing. So I appreciate that. So you're repping for the Thompsons, but I've got to come in and do my part. So I'm definitely going to get the chain this week and rep it the way that it's supposed to be, rep. So you're going to see, you're going to see the chain swinging this week for sure. So, thank you. So that's what I'm talking about. Got got my back. So schedule is hectic, all right.
Speaker 1:So, man, let's start with the first one. So the first island game, man, is Dez's game. So I've got the commanders at the, the Cardinals. The Cardinals are a three-and-a-half-point favorite at home and Dez has the Commanders. And now, again, the Commanders are good. So we were just talking about how they look and talking about Daniels and all that. And hey, they went and beat the Bengals in Cincinnati, although we're going to find out over these next few weeks just how big of a win that was. Um, but man, the cardinals look good. Uh, kyler, look, looks really good. And that combo with harrison, um, what's your take on this one, diego?
Speaker 2:see, I got the cardinals, of course, and I like, I just like the cardinals. They're a pretty cool team to watch. You know, kyler being back healthy, marv doing his thing, connor running, running aggressively and being a great bat. So, uh, yeah, of course, I got the cardinals and I don't really think the commander's that legit anyway, so I'm just all right. I think the car is just a better team all right, shots fired.
Speaker 1:What do you think, chris?
Speaker 3:well, I think this is gonna be another shootout. Uh yeah, because both teams have their struggles on defense. But I don't know. I feel like the Cardinals might be more experienced in games like this, so I have to watch this.
Speaker 1:Yeah, all right, cool, so yeah, we all got them. So yeah, dez needs to lose this one and he'll stay, although he's going to have to somewhat come out because we need him at least virtually next week at Kings he's hiding for right now. Brandon's got Cardinals. We know we're on the right track here. Now I've got two Island games to dig into before we get to Diego's crazy six Island games Again. Diego's being reckless now, as most young bucks get, but that's okay. He's going to come back to the means, going to come back to the pack and help us out. I appreciate that, son.
Speaker 1:We've got the Vikings at the Packers. I am on an island here. The Green Bay Packers are a two and a half point favorite at home. Yeah, I know the Vikings look good. I know the Vikings have won some games that people didn't think they were going to win. A lot of people thought they were going to be the bottom of the NFC North, but that is clouding all of your judgment. You're all clouded by that. Ok, you don't realize what the Packers are. The Packers, the Packers are. Love is expected to play and they're at home. I've got the Packers winning this game. I also feel that the Vikings are due for a letdown. They've had a lot of big wins. I think they're going to come down a little bit and they're going to drop this one and get their first loss of the year in Green Bay. What do you think?
Speaker 2:Diego. I mean, sam Darnold is looking great and I just think they're just going to keep playing. Well, the Vikings and the packers kind of wanted to pick the packers in this one. I didn't know love was gonna play, but uh, I'm gonna defend the vikings. Justin jefferson, he's a great receiver. So, uh, yeah, go with the vikings okay, what do you think, chris?
Speaker 3:so my uncle would disown me if I didn't pick the packers. So I'm picking them. Um, all right, one for that reason and two love being back. It's going to revitalize that team and the fact that they played so well when with malik willis, everybody was like, oh, this guy's falling, they're not even gonna make the playoffs and you know that's a testament to matt lafleur's coaching. So I think, when it comes out of coaching the way they run the ball, I I think it's going to be a very good game by the Packers.
Speaker 1:Yeah that's going to be a good one. We'll be, uh, if this is a one o'clock and we'll have this on our phone, so we'll have YouTube TV while we're, uh, sitting there at the Panther game tomorrow, so we'll be able to check everything out. So, yeah, we'll keep a close eye on what's on everything that's going on, all right, oh, so that's uh. So, yeah, everybody sided with me, man, so you know what I mean. I got, I got my guy brandon, I got chris, everybody knows. Oh, yeah, I'm definitely getting the chain deanna, I'm a rep this week. I'm definitely gonna have to change this week, all right, so next one, the next one that I'm on the island with. Yeah, we got the Chiefs traveling to the Chargers and the Chiefs it's a home game, ok, no, no.
Speaker 2:Just because it says the Chargers are at home. This is a Chiefs home game, trust me.
Speaker 1:Oh, ok, I got you, I got you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's that. That's a good point. That is a good point. Seven and a half, I mean. I'm surprised the spread is that big. I mean this is a divisional game. Chris, you were just talking about this last week how, with the Chargers, we were really interested to see when they faced each other. Now the Chargers lost last week, but hey, that may actually help them coming into this game, who knows? And the Chiefs have been squeaking by. The Chiefs could easily be 0-3. So what's the reality? Can't wait to see how this shakes out. But I've got the Chargers taking care of business in this game. Jim Harbaugh is going to coach them up and they're going to give the Chiefs their first loss and definitely solidify the chain. For myself, diego's got the Chiefs.
Speaker 3:I see Brandon's got the Chiefs, chris, who you got? I have the Chiefs. I'm sorry, the charters are banged up right now. This is it'd be different if Derwin James wasn't. If Derwin James was playing and there Justin Herbert didn't already have some lingering injury concerns. So you know, as much as I like the whole justin herbert mahomes thing, it's my home's division. They're so right and I really doubt last year was the first year we really saw them like seem to crumble versus division opponents like that. But I I really believe that they'll get it together and they'll be the chargers this week. I got the troops on this one man. I'm sorry.
Speaker 1:All good, I'm on a total island on this one. It's good. I like that. I like being on an island. It's kind of like Diego when he's playing corner, or your sidekick Jalen, who will be with us tomorrow. You guys are on an island, doing your thing, shutting down. I'm on an island, you know, doing your thing, shutting down, and you know I'm on an island on this one man, I'm a rep. I'm a rep and you guys are going to realize, see, this is the game that's going to prove that I'm back. All right, because there's been a question. Okay, you guys have been questioning. Okay, my picking this year. This is going to show that I'm back and this is going to be the perfect segue to go into our live show at Kings. You know what I mean. It's going to be great. Matter of fact, I might even come on set after y'all. We'll probably have some music, I'll probably come in with a band and all of that.
Speaker 1:It's going to be theatrical You're not going to want to miss this I don't know what band you're going to find I'm going to come, coming with the Clayton High Band. Yeah, since we got the Clayton High Coach, we'll have to see if we can get the Clayton High Band to join me and bring me in.
Speaker 2:You can stop thinking about that, because you already know. See, these island games are what make and break a person. You know what I'm saying, so being gutsy and picking these island games is the difference. So my first island game is the Bengals at the Panthers and I'm picking the Bengals. What? I'm on an island with the Bengals Word what.
Speaker 3:Dude you're born to the game. What is happening to Diego? Who kidnapped him? What?
Speaker 2:What I got, a strategy okay. So I mean, I know the Panthers are the legit Super Bowl contender and I know all that, but just the Bengals, they're 0-3, right, and they're just going to want. They're really going to go in for a win Like they're going to play their best football and they're going to try to win this game. But also, I picked against the Panthers last week and they finally won.
Speaker 1:So I kind of like, I kind of like this trend you know, maybe, okay, maybe, if I keep picking against the panthers, the panthers will keep winning okay, okay, so you're trying to have, so you're, you're, you're saying that, you're, you're not fooling anybody, so you're, you're trying to have a win-win. Okay, so you can go there, root there, root for the Panthers. If they win, hey, my team won. But if the Bengals win, it's like ah see, I told you I picked it.
Speaker 2:So that's what you're trying to do. That's pretty much what I'm trying to do yeah, hey, man.
Speaker 3:I'm riding the momentum and I'm already going to pick the Panthers. Listen the way. I have not seen our offense perform like that in years, and that is without now. The concern is we lost Adam Thielen, but I believe that Deontay Johnson. He had some issues with injuries this week but he seems like he'll be healthy for Sunday. With Chuba Hubbard they have one of their like two of their starting D-linemen out, so if we just run the ball and let Andy cook, I believe we can win this game. This is the first time in a minute I've had real hope as a Panthers fan.
Speaker 2:I think this could be a Xavier Leguette game, with him being number two, him being younger, not really having to worry about that injuries and stuff. I think he's going to step up to the occasion. Okay, possibly get the Panthers to win.
Speaker 1:Hmm, all right, yeah, whatever, whatever you got hey, I've got like a 4X Cincinnati Bengals hoodie back there. You can rock that, so we actually have some Bengal gear you going to wear that. And then we'll all be the four of us will have our panther stuff on so we, we can do that.
Speaker 1:Well, hey, before we get, we, we can't leave. We can't leave this game, okay, until we talk about uh, fully go into a little more, uh, the red rifle and what he did last week. So, again, like I said, uh, I believe temper still owns the team. I believe they still got the same. I think everything's the same, diego man, what is is is Dalton. Is Dalton the guy? The rest of the year?
Speaker 2:So yeah, just like Chris said, I hadn't seen the offense perform like that in probably about six years. So that's kind of sad 2018 season before Cam got hurt. Hadn't seen him from Noel since then. So I think Andy Dalton is actually our franchise quarterback he could be our quarterback for the next five years actually and Bryce. I think Bryce can play a backup for about a few years and then maybe, if Andy keeps playing well, then we can trade Bryce. But I think Andy Dalton is the guy until he's not.
Speaker 1:Don't you have a Bryce jersey in the? Are you wearing your Bryce jersey to the game tomorrow?
Speaker 2:Oh, no, no, I'm going to get you out for that. You go I can't handle my Bryce shots. I can't. I'm going to wear my cam again.
Speaker 1:Diego will turn on a Panther quarterback in a second.
Speaker 2:I don't believe that Bryce can be a good player, but it just depends on like it depends.
Speaker 1:I don't know if he'll get another shot again.
Speaker 2:That's the thing.
Speaker 1:He loves the Panthers, but when it comes to quarterback man.
Speaker 2:I still believe in Bryce. I think, I'm not answering that question.
Speaker 1:You're not going to answer Summer's question For those listening, because we're on all podcast networks so you can hear us on all podcast networks. Summer just asked are you willing to admit that CJ Stroud is better than Thank you willing to admit that CJ Stroud is better? Yeah, thank you for bringing that back up, summer. Will you admit that CJ Stroud is better now?
Speaker 2:Bryce Young beat CJ Stroud head-to-head. That's all I'm going to say. No one can take that away from him. That's a mess.
Speaker 3:Chris, what's your take on that? Cj won a playoff game versus the Browns?
Speaker 3:And the Panthers made the playoffs as much as I listen, as much as I'm a supporter of Bryce right, the confidence that Andy seemed to bring and I saw one of the funniest things on Twitter is like Andy's really not afraid of these new defenses. He played the AFC North for like 10 years, so it's like he knows how to operate an offense. And also, dave Canales didn't draft him, so at this point Dave's also coaching for his job as well, because you know how quick-tempered we need to fire people. So it's you know it's tough for Bryce and I feel bad for him personally, because you see how the team reacted and how, how you see the locker room videos and how alive and how the whole thing was.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 3:Like dang like oh. I know we're like that for me, so I feel bad for him. I'm sorry, bro. We got to win some games.
Speaker 2:Let's do it yeah.
Speaker 3:Last time.
Speaker 2:I think Bryce can be a good quarterback, but the thing is I don't know if he's ever going to get the chance.
Speaker 1:So that's just the thing. I've got a spot for him, actually, because there is a team where I think he would be a perfect fit, because it reminds me of the Caleb Williams Jaden Daniels situation how the offense and what they're setting up in Washington fits Jaden. What they've got in Chicago is a little shaky right now. They've got to make some adjustments. Bryce would thrive in Miami. That's the perfect offense for him With Coach McDaniels with it being wide open. He can be in the shotgun, he can scramble a little bit, he can throw those little short passes to Tyreek. Let him take it to the house. I think that's the perfect place for him. We know Tua's not coming back. They're going to need a franchise quarterback, sondra Young. So I think that's the perfect spot. Now I don't know how you'd work the cap in all this. I'm not a capologist. But hey, give me Waddle. You know what I mean. Bring Waddle or somebody like that over to Carolina and just cut bait and let Bryce go.
Speaker 2:And hey, yeah, I would have just said maybe a first-round pick.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, nah, nah, nah. You got to give me Waddle, give me Waddle. Now you got to work the numbers because, I think Waddle signed a decent deal, so I don't know how you'd make the numbers work, but those is, those being the main core pieces. I think that would be a win-win for both teams.
Speaker 3:As much as I love Bryce, that's a lot to give up because he, even when Tyreek doesn't show up, waddle's still going to do his thing. So, as much as I love Bryce, that might be too much for Bryce right now. All right, I don't know. I would like him in Miami, though, but I wouldn't want that for the Dolphins. Man Waddle's been balling for that. 30 minutes All right, all right.
Speaker 1:So hey, that's the game. Can't wait for that. We'll be there. We'll be giving you coverage live on that one. So we're excited about that. All right, let's get into Diego. You've got a lot to do here. We've got five more Island games and then we've got to talk some hoops. So Brandon is way past the end of that. All right, so let's get to Rams at Bears.
Speaker 2:So, rams and Bears, I am picking the Bears in this game. The Bears this game, uh, the bears are at home. Caleb, uh, the rams, they have a lot of injuries, they puka, puka, nakua and cooper cup are still out, stafford's a little bit banged up, and I think the bears, if their defense keeps playing well, and caleb has three weeks of experience now, if he's able to, you know, pull some things together and get and play, play it, play a good game, then the bears definitely got this game.
Speaker 1:Okay, all right. Uh, yeah, man, I'm going Rams on this one. I just, I just can't pick the bears anymore right now. So I need to see them win a game before I pick them. And the way the Rams shocked the Niners man, yeah, I just can't, I can't pay. Hey, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But I'd rather be wrong picking the Rams than the Bears on this one. So I got to go Rams. We see Brandon say Rams, who you got with this one.
Speaker 3:Chris, I got the Rams All right. Sean McVay, somehow, someway, he going to pull it out. I just you know I got no games in this one.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, we all got this. Diego, you on the island man.
Speaker 2:All right, I'll take it All right.
Speaker 1:Next one.
Speaker 2:This next one. Steelers at Colts. I'm going with the Colts in this one. You are tripping. Yeah, I kind of think I should have picked the Steelers, I picked the Colts, okay so. I'm going to stick with the Colts, but yeah.
Speaker 1:I'm picking the Colts. Yeah, man, you are just giving this all back. You're giving all that. You have a two-game overall lead on the NBA. You're going to give all this back.
Speaker 2:Thank you, man. You know, maybe Anthony, richardson and taylor can play good and you got home field advantage, so I got a few things in their favor okay, all right.
Speaker 1:All right, we're gonna see here steelers. Uh, brandon's got the steelers with us, all right, cool, yeah, let's go to the end. Chris, you said steelers, right, yeah, steelers. Okay, all right. Yeah, I'm gonna dive deep in now this is a nice island game.
Speaker 2:I I'm very confident in this island game. Eagles at Bucks. I'm going with the Eagles. Eagles came off a great road win last week against who they play? Against? The Saints, yeah, now playing the Bucks. This is a revenge game from the wild card game last year. So I think the Eagles they're coming back better and they're coming back to avenge that loss last year in the playoffs.
Speaker 1:They are the favorite with this one as well. So, oh, nice question. We're going to get to that question in a second. So with the Eagles, eagles and Bucs Brandon's got Eagles. I'm going Bucs in this one. The Bucs are weird. They've been up and down and I've seen them. I mean, heck, they freaking beat the Lions, you know. So they've been up, lost to the Broncos, yeah, but then lost to them. So it's like what in the world? So I think they're definitely going to put their best game together with this one and I feel that if they're able to do that, which they will they'll pull this out. I think they know the Eagles, they're a familiar foe and they're at home and they'll be able to pull this one out. I think they win this one. They win this one by three. So, yeah, they're going to win this one. What do you think, chris?
Speaker 3:I think the Eagles are probably going to be one-dimensional because they're without AJ Brown and Devontae Smith. So it's going to be a heavy Saquon game. And you know Dallas Goddard making plays here and there. I don't know if that's enough to beat the Bucs right now with the way they can lock in on defense. So I got the Bucs in this one, yeah.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's going to be going to be good, Going to be good. I tell you, what Summer can you bring that question? Kind of read that one. So is Nico Collins too hurt to get over 80 yards receiving 42 percent target share versus man coverage? Is he hurt? How banged up is Nico?
Speaker 2:I haven't heard of him being is he? How banged up is nico? I haven't really heard anything. I haven't heard of him being, I think he I mean, I haven't heard anything crazy about nico. So I think as long as he's playing and he's not severely hurt, then I think he can. He can get over 80, he can get over 80 and get that yeah, I mean the.
Speaker 1:The biggest, the bigger question with him is just the receivers. You know the fact they have digs that he's got to spread that ball, he's got to get digs his touches, so that's. That's just going to naturally take away from nico. That's why I stayed with fantasy, I stayed away from all houston receivers except digs, because I know dig, we know digs is going to complain and get his touches, so we're not worried about that. The other guys, I don't know if they're quite seasoned to demand the ball like that. So yes, and then if he's hurt too, yeah, I'd be a little leery on that. Yeah, yeah, but thank you, thank you, matthew. Thank you for the question on that.
Speaker 2:All right, you got two more out of the game. Browns at Raiders I'm going with the Browns in this one. Browns at Raiders I'm going with the Browns in this one.
Speaker 1:Browns at Raiders. Yeah, I'm going with the.
Speaker 2:Browns. Both these teams aren't really that great, so it was really just like. I was kind of just picking. And the Browns really need a win because they're in tough division and they haven't been doing so great, so I think they'll bounce back.
Speaker 1:They are the favorite. They are the favorite. Oh, you're welcome, matthew. They are the favorite by two and a half, which I guess I mean. Hey, maybe that's the bias. I guess people figure, man, the Raiders lost to the Panthers in convincing fashion, so now all of a sudden the Raiders are awful, but again the Raiders did go into Baltimore and beat the Ravens, so this one's tough. Again I've got to go.
Speaker 1:Raiders I think you know they're at home which they were against the Panthers, but they're going to be extremely motivated. You can argue that they took the Panthers lightly, thought they were going to just come in and win that game. And I know the coach was very upset, called a lot of his players out, said that the players were making business decisions and that now they're going to make business decisions as a coaching staff. So he put that whole team on notice that they better come out and perform or there's going to be some changes made. So I think they're coming out playing for their jobs and that alone, combined with Deshaun Watson playing awful, I think the raiders uh, definitely get this one.
Speaker 3:What do you think, chris? Yeah, I got the raiders in a low scoring one um first off. They're without their two starting tackles, so max crosby's gonna please. I like what he did against us. So you know, max, you're due for a good game. After you know, you had basically a pass deflection against us, so I got the raiders in this one good point.
Speaker 1:Good point there's something about our o-line containing man there's actually, so I don't have the stat on this. So this also is an interesting fun fact and I'll have to get the exact stat. But I was listening to nbc and man the Sims son, I can't think of his first name Chris Sims. Yeah him, Chris Sims. He said I don't know what the stat is, but he said statistically, the Panthers offensive line is playing the best in the NFL right now. Yeah, and so there's got to be some stat.
Speaker 2:There's some stat that proves that o-line is better, but I'll tell you that right now we are, we do not have the best o-line okay I mean we are better.
Speaker 3:I'm saying our line's awful, but we stopped the top five pass rusher, I got a little bit more belief in them than I had last year. Right, yeah, true, true, we pitched a shutout versus the Max Crosby, I think there's better proof.
Speaker 1:That's a great point.
Speaker 3:It might be because Andy was getting the ball out faster.
Speaker 1:That might be it, could be, could be. And also, we were talking again, that was part of the argument in the offseason when we were saying that the Panthers were going to come in and be better, the fact that they made some, that they improved the offensive line, so they should be better. Yeah, you know so, we'll see. But yeah, I have to get the exact stat on that. All right, we got one more. We got one more island game here, diego. And then, oh, hold on, we got a question Under 37, browns Raiders.
Speaker 3:Under I uh, oh uh, under 37 browns raiders under I think so under browns raiders versus deshaun watson, versus I mean that's, it's no it's yeah, it's gonna be low, yeah, that's I could see a combined like 20 points maybe. That's what I was thinking too, Diego.
Speaker 1:Yeah, smart money is you know. Oh, man, I got to. You know what, Matthew, I would actually take the over. Now, that's probably not smart money. That's just me Again, we don't, you know, we're not, we're not, you know. Come back to us on that one. But yeah, I think the, if you look at the stats, the under is probably the smart way to go. But me personally, if I'm putting something on that, I personally would take that, would take the over. Plus it'd probably be a higher payout too. So that's just how I, you know, if I do place a wager, that's how I do it. All right, let's get to the Bills Raven Raven. So we know, Brandon's got the Ravens. Diego, you are on the Island for this one. Baltimore is a two and a half point favorite at home Sunday night. We should be home in time to see this one, or at least see the majority of this game, when we get back from Charlotte man.
Speaker 2:I'm going, I'm going with the Ravens in this one. They're, they're at home sunday night. They need a big win. Um, they didn't. I mean they beat. Beat the cowboys last week. That's a solid win. They had the cheat, they had chiefs, but of course you know, you know who was in their favor in that game, but um see I think the they're going to play their best football Sunday night at home and get a win.
Speaker 1:Okay, all right, all right. Well, you know, man, I've been on fire with these takes. You know, I told you guys last week I had a lot of memorable moments. Last week, you know, I told you guys that Bryce was the problem. That's right about that. And I also said that the Buffalo Bills the best team in the AFC yes, buffalo Bills, best team in the AFC. And then they proceed to come out and although it was the Jacksonville Jaguars, man, they look like world. Did y'all see that game? Did y'all see the fire in Josh Allen's eyes in that game? And the way he spread that ball out Didn't have anybody complaining, was just hitting Shakir, who I told y'all to pick on fantasy, which I picked up. I mean, man, it was just beautiful to watch. They're explosive and balanced, like I told you they'd be, and they're going to go into Baltimore and they're going to spread the ball around.
Speaker 2:They can spread the ball all they want, but the Ravens have Derrick Henry Lamar and their offense is just scary.
Speaker 1:What do you think, Chris?
Speaker 3:The only way the Ravens can win this game is by playing. Keep away with the Bills' offense, because for me there's no way that you can stop josh allen at this point, like he's playing, like otherworldly they're. They're able to run the ball. And baltimore's defense concerns me because I didn't think the loss of mike mcdonald would be hitting them this bad. But you see the points that they've given up in the whole comeback, with the Raiders, all the yards they let up against the Chiefs, dallas being able to almost win the game. Their defense really, really concerns me and their offense has a tendency to not let up off the gas. I'm actually changing my pick because I thought the Ravens would have a tough one. I might have the Bills in this one.
Speaker 1:All right, yeah, so me and Chris have the Bills, diego, dez, and no, dez also has the, I think, bills and me you have the Ravens, but Brandon has the Ravens and we're going to bring Brandon on here in a second. So, yeah, man, now, uh, the Ravens that we're going to bring, uh, we're going to bring Brandon on here in a second. So, uh, yeah, man now, hey, it is at night and, um, I believe the Ravens are wearing black. You said right, so yeah, that that's going to be a scary sight, man, seeing Derek Henry back there at night and in Baltimore wearing all black, and I don't, I don't think anybody's going to want to go and want to try to tackle him. Man, we're going to see how that works out, but the Bills' defense man, the defense is playing great as well, so that's going to be fun. I can't wait to get back and see that one. All right, well, hey, keep the comments coming, keep the questions coming.
Speaker 1:We've got a little more time. Rome is actually held up, so we're okay. So, we got a little bit. We got a little bit. We got a little more time here, but I know we got an early start, so we're going to leave here we're actually going to train. So Diego's got to train with Rome, so he's going to run routes. But man aren't a lot of your classmates, don't? They have the homecoming going on.
Speaker 2:No, I'm training.
Speaker 1:Man Diego is training, putting in the work. Oh man, all right, we're going to get some clips from that. We're going to show you guys what's going on here. Okay, so let's go to basketball and let's bring our guy Brandon in to join us. All right, what's up, brandon? Oh, hold on, let me unmute you.
Speaker 4:Okay, there we go. All right, what's up?
Speaker 1:Brandon.
Speaker 4:Hey, how's it going.
Speaker 1:Good, good man, good, good to see you man. So, wow, you know, I think Silas, who is a big, big supporter of us, messaged me yesterday and was the one to break the news of the big trade of the Knicks sending or the gosh the Wolves sending Carl Anthony Towns of the Knicks sending, or the gosh the Wolves sending Carl Anthony Towns to the Knicks. And we know there's more people involved of Devin Chinzo and Julius Randle of the Knicks are the two main players. There might be some other folks involved, but those are the main pieces of this trade. So, man, let's start with you, since you're the special guest here. Then we'll go around and get everybody's take. But, brandon man, let's start with you, since you're the special guest here. Then we'll go around and get everybody's take. But, brandon man, what's your take on that trade?
Speaker 4:It was. Initially I was shocked about it and then you look at the details, they said it was like a money thing. They didn't want to. I think Carl and Thin Tails had like a big contract coming up so they were like, okay, well, we got. And man, over here, we got, gobert over here we got. You know, carl and thing towns big contract coming up and then naz reed had just got paid. So they were trying to figure out, okay, who should we keep and stuff. So I think, hey, let's just get real Carthay Towns, get some players back.
Speaker 4:I guess with Randall now they felt like it was a cheaper contract. And then they also brought a first-round pick, like a 2025 first-round pick via Detroit. So it's a top 13 protected pick. Maybe they trying to I think they're going to monitor the pistons few years, see like if it goes up, it goes down, you know, and maybe use it as like a trade piece later on for like years to come. So I think it's, but I think overall it was a good trade for both. I think with the Knicks it was they was looking at the fact that Mitchell Robinson was hurt, so they needed like a center. So they went and got currently, which is why they pulled a trigger when it got currently towns.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 4:Cause they looking at like, hey, we're trying to win, like we're looking at Philly, we looking at Boston in the east, in Milwaukee, so we need to compete still, and like for Minnesota, it's like, okay, we can still compete in the west, but we, looking at it from a future standpoint because of the, obviously, the CBA and stuff too, like you got to look at, like they got better because you bring in a shooter and d vincenzo and you added scoring punch coming off the bench, which they needed. So I think, like if at the end of the day, I think it worked out for both teams because both are contenders and I think it helps menso out a little bit more in the future, because they're looking at the, I think the championship window, they try to extend it a little bit, as opposed to like, oh, just keep it a year or two or whatever.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, no, that's, that's an interesting take. So I didn't think of the financial side of it. But yeah, I mean, you can't have so many. You know max people and we know what Anthony Edwards is and you know what he's going to command and all of that, and so it kind of reminds me of OKC, when they had to let Harden go in order to try to keep things running. But what's your take on it, diego?
Speaker 2:Yeah, I actually like to trade a little bit for both sides. I like calling Townsend Knicks a little bit for both sides. I like Carl and Hurtado to the Knicks. I think he brings a good side to the Knicks, can help them maybe win some games, maybe get to the finals, conference finals, I don't know. I think he can help them do some big things. And then for the Timberwolves I kind of like getting rid of Carl and Hurtado, because later in the season towards the conference finals, you saw him just shooting more threes and then he just wasn't as high as he was earlier in the playoffs. I think Devin Chenzo you know that he's going to be clutch and make some big-time shots. Even Julius Randle can be. If he's healthy he can be a solid piece. I just hope that the Timberwolves start Nas Reed over Julius Randle because I just think Nas Reed and Gobert is a better fit than Randle and Gobert.
Speaker 1:That'll still give them that size that they had and probably help them to battle against joker, because he's not going anywhere, so they're still gonna have to tend randall's a nice six man.
Speaker 2:You got nikhil alexander walker. You got kyle anderson. Oh no, kyle anderson's gone, he's in the warriors, but he's still got nikhil alexander walker, randall, uh, so you got some solid pieces, okay all right oh, and you got rob dillingham, my guy, uh, the rookie, and some other and another first round but they also had a really good draft.
Speaker 1:So you, you like it like for both both sides. What about you, chris?
Speaker 3:I actually like it more for the next side, purely because they needed a center.
Speaker 3:Um mitchell robertson's injured concerns are something that uh plagued the next for a minute and outside of hard to sign they really didn't have another big man who was like, like that right cat stretches the floor, you know, I believe that him and jalen brunson who, weirdly enough, jalen brunson goes on the paint and cat likes to shoot threes. I know nba in 2024 very crazy, but I believe that they'll fit really well together. Everybody's concerned about cat on defense after that. Uh, denver series showed me something that if he really puts his mind to it he can really lock in. And they still have mikhail and og to help out on that end.
Speaker 3:What concerns me for it's what concerns me for the the Wolves all about, like, who's going to start on the lineup, because Julius Randle can sometimes be really inefficient and he can sometimes shoot himself out of games. You have Nas Reed, but then Gobert, like has this great defensive presence, so where is he fit and all that? Jaden McDaniels is also a really good wing defender. He can't have Ant play point guard because, if you saw it, they were literally forcing him to play the point guard and that didn't necessarily go well. So we're still relying on Mike Conley. So there's a lot of questions on how fit and lineup works and, as much as DiVincenzo is a great shooter, are we bringing him off the bench because they need the shooting. So it's like there's so much to be determined on how they all gel together. So I like the Knicks because to me it's a better fit for the player. But we'll see, we'll see.
Speaker 2:As far as pure point guard.
Speaker 1:I think that's what they drafted Rob Dillingham for I think they want him to get some point guard reps. Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 1:That's true. That's true. Yeah, they do have that covered there. Okay, so with that, let's just go into how far. I want to know how far can the Timberwolves, or will the Timberwolves, go and how far the Knicks going to go as a result of this trade. So, brandon, start us off. How far are the Timberwolves go and how far the Knicks going to go as a result of this trade? So, brandon, start us off. How far are the Timberwolves going to go? This?
Speaker 4:year and how far are the Knicks going to go? So for the Knicks, I think it's like it's like well keyword, if healthy. Yeah, conference finals is like the. I feel like conference finals for both would be like the target. I don't really see either of them get to the finals because again, like health, uh, health is involved and we gotta see the other teams get better and stuff like that. So really I would say conference finals for both teams. I think conference finals is like the ceiling for both teams.
Speaker 3:Okay.
Speaker 2:All right.
Speaker 1:Okay, what do you think, diego?
Speaker 2:I think the Timberwolves are going to win the championship. Ooh yeah, and I think the Knicks ceiling is the NBA finals, but I would predict them to go to the conference finals. So that's what I would say Knicks conference finals, timberwolves win the championship.
Speaker 1:Okay, all right, what you?
Speaker 3:got Chris. The Knicks ceiling actually should be the finals. All right, they have the team that can beat the best team in the east or in the south. They have the players to help defend jason tatum and jaylen brown, I. I believe it's up to them. And how hard tibbs runs them during the season, you know because we saw last season. The reason why I believe they lost to the Pacers is because they were just running to the ground, because Tibbs was just working them like crazy. That's the thing. If healthy, I believe that they should be able to make the finals Now win it with. How many good teams are in the West? That's a big concern. The Wolves, however, they're in the West.
Speaker 1:Tell us in the comments I'm sorry, Chris Tell us in the comments how far the Knicks are going to go and how far the Timberwolves are going to go. Go ahead, Chris.
Speaker 3:It's hard to call it because, again, my issue with the Wolves is they literally have the thing to solve Jokic right, they have three big men who could rotate and get and guard Jokic pretty well and the person who defended Jokic the best.
Speaker 3:They just shipped off to the Knicks. So it's like what are? What can you do against the Nuggets? There's still other really good teams in the West. My sneaky peek is like everybody needs to watch out for what the Grizzlies can do, because they kept elevating over Basically before all of Jaws' mess the past few years. They literally were elevating. It was like, okay, they made the play and then they made the first round and then they made the conference semifinals and they looked like they could make the conference finals and all of Jaws' mess and all the jaws mess, you know, and all the injuries last year, kind of mess it all up. So I would still watch out because the west is loaded. I would I don't know where. I would say the tournament will fall. I would say second round at best and then maybe they can surprise me with carbon spotters run. But it's just going to have to have a huge carry job in the playoffs.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah. As far as the Knicks, again big if on being healthy, clearly. So if Thibodeau doesn't run them into the ground okay, thibodeau, you got some more pieces now, we ain't got to run everybody to the ground. So if they're healthy, going into the playoffs and stay healthy, I see NBA finals for sure. As far as the Timberwolves go, I think conference finals at best. Denver's going to be tough. Denver's going to be ready. Denver's going to want revenge. And the fact now that they don't have Cat, it's going to be ready. Denver's going to want revenge. And the fact now that they don't have Cat, it's going to be that much more of a challenge. Dallas isn't going anywhere. You know they've added Clay and has done what they're going to do.
Speaker 1:And again, I can't unsee what I saw when Luca went in there and punked Ant-Man and the Timberwolves in their stadium in game six. I can't, I can't unsee that. So again, it's like it's like I said on the show, uh, back in the summer. It's like your dad talking a whole bunch of junk to some people and you know you're a kid and then you see your dad get beat up. It's kind of hard to have the same look at him, the same way. You know what I mean, mean, I can't. I can't unsee what I saw with that.
Speaker 1:So, when it comes to the typicals, I'm sorry, I ant-man. And then you know all the stuff about the um. You know jordan was the only one that had skill and all that. I think they need to be. You know I'm salty about that. So, no, no, conference finals will be a win for them. They can go ahead and restructure their cap and maybe come back, but I think it's either Dallas, okc or Denver One of those three and if OKC can make a move, definitely I would probably lean towards OKC, or Denver, one of those three, and if OKC can make a move, definitely I would probably lean towards OKC. So yeah, yeah, man, yeah, sga.
Speaker 2:And better.
Speaker 1:Oh man, Great, great. I appreciate you guys' takes. I love it, Love it. All right, we got one more topic before we jump here Again. If you've got any questions, let us know or get any comments on everything that we're talking about. We want to hear that. So we are down to the final four. This starts tomorrow. So we've got the Vegas Aces are playing the Connecticut Sun 3 o'clock ABC, 3 o'clock Eastern ABC tomorrow. And then you've got the Minnesota Lynx are playing the New York Liberty at 8.30 Eastern. Yeah 8.30.
Speaker 1:Eastern? Is it flipped the other way?
Speaker 3:Yeah, sun Lynx, and then Aces Liberty.
Speaker 1:Oh, the Aces played the Liberty.
Speaker 3:Yes, which is?
Speaker 1:Oh, I totally had this. Okay, my bad. Thanks for correcting me. So it's Aces Liberty. Oh, that's right. Yeah, because they're in the same division. That's right. Okay, so Aces Liberty. And then it's Connecticut Sun Lynx. Okay, I got that wrong, thank you. So with that, I think so, diego, you were Indiana. Okay, so they're bounced now. But who would you say now off the final?
Speaker 2:four, I'd say the Liberty, because they lost last year.
Speaker 1:Okay, they'll have revenge.
Speaker 2:They got the best only team in the WNBA with under 10 losses. I think they're just ready to get that championship. They're fiery.
Speaker 1:Okay, all right, hey, brandon, our expert, who you got. I think you said did you say Aces?
Speaker 4:I said Aces, yeah.
Speaker 1:Okay, all right, so you're sitting. Good, you sticking with that.
Speaker 4:I actually am, because I think in a weird kind of way, even though they are back-to-back champions going for a three-peat, they kind of have turned the, have turned the aces into like the underdogs, where it's like all the pressure if y'all notice, all the pressure now is just on the liberty now to win a championship, considering how well the liberty had played. So it's almost like anytime I don't know if anybody knows, but anytime when we've seen teams get up well, new York teams for example anytime when New York teams get all of a sudden all the pressure on them, they end up kind of folding. I wouldn't suggest it because I've seen this story played way too many times.
Speaker 4:If you look back at hockey, for example, I heard all season long it was the New York Rangers that were the favorites to win the Stanley Cup Finals and I was like no, let me pick Florida. And everyone was like why are you picking Florida? I said picking New York just not good to win it. New York and picking them to win a championship doesn't go together, unfortunately. So I was just like let me just roll with the Aces and I have to. I think for me it's like I have to see it to believe it For me to go okay. Yeah, it is different if the Aces were to lose, but until then I got to go with the Aces.
Speaker 1:Well, that's an interesting point, Brandon, and we're going to come to you next. But that's an interesting point, brandon, as far as the New York teams being the favorite and crumbling. So when I think of a lot of their championships, they were the underdog, with a lot of titles that they won. I think of the giants with a lot of their titles, they were the underdog. You think of the jets, you know, and they won. That, you know. You think of the Mets, you think of just a lot of the, the New York teams, a lot of their titles. They were the underdog. Interesting point there. But, chris, what's your take on this?
Speaker 3:I believe the Aces and Liberty is going to determine who wins the whole thing, and I got the Aces. I believe they've turned the corner and Asia's going to turn up. I believe this is her about to be in my bag, so I got the Aces.
Speaker 1:Okay, I got the Aces. Well, I picked the Lynx last time when we were just getting started, so I'm a stick with that. I've gotten to the semifinals, so we got to. I guess they're going against the sun and take care of business there, and then it's going to be a tall task going against either the Aces or the Liberty, but I'm a stick with Minnesota. So that's the Minnesota team I'm going to ride with. I'm going with the Minnesota Lynx, not the Timberwolves, the Lynx of the team that I'm going to get the title.
Speaker 1:All right, oh well, summer, are we clean on comments? Okay, we're clean back there, so we don't have any questions. So, brandon, man, pleasure having you on. We got to talk. We'll definitely have to talk some football with you next go-round too, so we'll have you on real soon and dive back into some football. But, man, thanks for all your support, thanks for keeping us updated and for all you do. Man, everybody loves it when you're able to join us. So we appreciate you, man, appreciate it. All right, all right, we'll see you next time, brandon, all right, all right, cool, cool.
Speaker 1:That is Brandon. That's our guy man. We love having Brandon on, man, my family, the family in Texas. They all love when Brandon comes on too, so they all have great things to say when he's on there. So, uh, chris, man, we know we're gonna, uh we're gonna be getting up with you early, man, getting this game. So we're excited, man, go catch the uh panthers, it's gonna be a lot of fun. Um, yeah. So hey, uh, I know, man, it's 8 30, so we've gone a little long, but, um, we've got to again touch on your podcast and music and between the generations and whatnot, so I definitely want to be able to touch on that.
Speaker 3:So I would say, mark, wait my five minute spiel With generational debates. I want to give y'all like three or four artists to really tap into because I feel like, with music and everything, I feel like so many of the older audiences like where the lyrics, where it's like the people are really spinning and like saying like honestly how they feel, instead of like focusing on flexing and so much as and so much of rap to me has become about the aesthetic and sales, less so about the content and the actual like rapping and getting to the bars. So I would say there's three artists I would like you to check out. Y'all can find them on Apple, on most streaming platforms. So the first one is from New Jersey.
Speaker 3:His name's Chris Patrick. He's one of my favorites. I've discovered he raps with a passion. You can definitely feel it in a bunch of his lyrics. He has a bunch of introspective tracks. There's some tracks where he does some R&B cuts where you'll see him singing and getting that back too. So he's one of my favorites. Another one of my favorites is Smin. My favorites is smino. He's from st louis, he s-m-i-n-o and if you listen to him to me, he gives me the same feel that audrey 3000 gave me when I was younger.
Speaker 3:It's just like the lyricism of the lyricism, the eclectic production, his, if you like, follow him on instagram. You'll see like his style and how that like informs his music. So he's definitely one of the more special artists I've discovered. And finally, this is somebody who went to my school with me, um, when I was at howard university. Um, his name is zuri, so it's z-u-r-i, with an exclamation point one of the most talented rappers I've ever met and with him it's bars galore. It's it's just. He is one of the most talented people I've ever met, so I really wanted to plug him and like show. He really got something to say for real. So smino is one of the bigger artists. Chris patrick's a little is getting more known and zuri is definitely somebody who I consider one of the coolest people, the coolest artists I've ever met, had the pleasure to meet, so definitely tap in with him all right, we'll definitely definitely tap into uh series.
Speaker 3:Ig is cupid shot zuri, so I would follow him and check him out oh, oh nice.
Speaker 1:Can you say that one more time?
Speaker 3:Cupid shot Zuri, so yeah.
Speaker 1:Perfect, thank you.
Speaker 3:Thank you.
Speaker 1:Definitely check him out. We'll definitely check him out. And one final plug again We'll be at King's next week. We will be at King's. The show goes live at 7 pm, so you will want to arrive probably at least by 630 to claim your seat. We're going to have pizza, we'll have soda, we will have a fire show.
Speaker 1:We've got we're starting our segment at the end of each show where we're featuring a high school phenom that's up and coming. So our first high school phenom will be Olivia. She's a golfer. We can't wait to feature her. We've got Desmond Clark, who will be virtual, and then we've got Kenny Collins, who is the coach, the new head coach of Clayton High School basketball, the varsity team. They are loaded Again. They are loaded and they are poised to make a run for the state championship. So we can't wait to talk to him about that. And TNT, which is our production company, we're going to be following them throughout the season, so there's going to be cameras and everything, as they are on their quest to take this crown. So we're really excited about that for them to bring that to the town of Clayton. So can't wait for that.
Speaker 1:So, yes, make sure you join us and we'll see you at Kings on Friday, all right. Well, diego, you got to get to training, we got to get out of here and do it and we got to get ready to go cheer the Panthers on to beat 2-2. Red Rifle, all right. So we'll see you in the morning. Chris, let me get the outro here, all right? So on three, man, you know how we sign out. We're going to say Pick'em Pros, all right. So one, two, three Pick'em Pros Later, later, later. So far as Jordan, thank you, outro Music.
